10 pack from juggs

I bought a 10 cover pack from the Juggernaut event, and didn't even get one three star, let alone a four star. I know, random is random, but a 10 pack? not even one? Sigh. I'm just venting. Sorry about that.

If there is one thing I tell old and new players alike, it's never buy tokens, of any kind, ever (except the daily deal 50 special edition ones, and even still).

Something should really be done about this, I feel it cheats less experienced players out of more often than not.

The Vault system is ****. I'm sure there's a conspiracy (or lack of consistency) with how the covers are given out. Case in point:

I had a total of 80 toons in it. The "wheel" stops 2 covers after you tap the screen.
Which means from the time DP's icon appears (his is the only one in that vault), I have to wait and count up to 77 flashing icons before tapping on the 78th one that flashes.
This should land me his cover. Yet it lands on a 2* storm. %*^%@#$%@#&%

Ok. Wait til the next day. Now I have 79 toons left in the vault. I should tap on the 77th logo to hit DP. NOPE! got me a 2* Daken. I think I might've miscounted or summat. Fine.

Fast forward 24hrs. Try the discount token again, with 78 covers left in the vault. This time I should be tapping on the 76th icon. Screw it. I'll try tapping on the 77th one, since I keep getting **** 2* covers.
Guess what? the wheel stops 1 cover after DP's icon. His icon literally flashes before my eyes (proving my point right about how the cover order is NOT randomized in the vault) and lands me another 2* cover.

A Developer said in another thread about how there are no hidden stuff in the vault: What you see in it is what will come out. Very clever not to mention how the mechanics work (for business reasons, no doubt).

It's definitely a conspiracy. NEVER TRUST THE VAULT

It's cute that you automatically assume the icons would be programmed to come up in a predictable order.

Oh, I'm so sorry. You know that there's no special trick to tapping the flashing icon at a certain time, right?

lol you seriously thought that the vault gives you a cover based on the flashing icons? It is random and chosen immediately when you use the token.

The issue is, that's great. but I haven't seen a purple magneto 2 star since, maybe a month ago, my first red for cyc would have also been welcome and I'm on the fence about chasing another roster spot for a character that won't be usable for the next year or so.

(the best 4 star reward is the 1000 HP lol)

Oh, I'm so NOT sorry. Do you know this worked perfectly fine when there was the 50 covers vault? Not just for myself but my alliance mates too. Have you tried doing it? No? So what do you know? Are you a developer?

And those are forum players saying that, the ones who would be expected to be better-informed about what's going on. How many casual players have been tricked into buying tokens because they don't know better?

I normally don't buy a 10 pack of anything at all, but I had real life interfere with my ability to do the endless Deadpool Uncanny Xforce grind so I was hoping with an increased drop rate I'd get even just 1 cover of DP XF. Barring that I'd have been happy with almost any 3 star, I'm still working through my 3 star army (I have seven 3 star maxed right now).

But it insta-opened to lots of 2 and 1 star **** covers. I was sad and angry all at once, and then annoyed at myself for spending the money.

As someone who actually bought a token at full price during the Independence vault, the first part was exactly what I was thinking. Thankfully I used my collected HP and not buy any for that, and I figured out straight away that even though the roulette moved in a pattern, the actual cover won was random.

In any case we could complain all we want and it wouldn't get changed. I'm sure making the roulette pattern repeating was completely deliberate and they have it exactly how they want it.

If it was confirmed that there was skill involved, I might buy a couple packs to refine my skills with it so I will have better pulls in the future. best training would be an iso version that wins more iso. It can be like a mini game while waiting for health packs.
