Who is essential for "Enemy of the State"?

I have enough hero points to add a new character, but I was wondering who the essential characters are for "Enemy of the State"? For instance, it was Deadpool, Kamala Khan & Wolverine for the Juggernaut Heroic event. Having only one of those, makes it near impossible to place anywhere to get the better prizes.

Is there a way to find this out ahead of time? It seems like it's usually the last character you can get from the progression awards, and also the top prize from the placement rewards, so my guesses are Daredevil & Nick Fury, but I don't know who the third would be.

Why do we keep having these threads? The essential will always be whoever was the placement reward for the previous event. Also, the "Event Rules" tab for the event will say who it is under the "Powered-up" -> "This Event" list.

We all were at some point. Go to the Events, Tournaments, and Missions sub forum, more info than you could ever need, for ever Story, Prologue, PVP, etc..

Here's a good rule of thumb to keep in mind regarding who you'll need for essentials: it's the three specific characters available as placement awards in the previous PvE event. For instance, your three placement award possibilities for "Juggernaut:Heroic" are:

Those will be the essential characters for this run of "Enemy Of The State". Subsequently, the three placement award characters for "Enemy Of The State":

will be the essentials for the *next* PvE. And so on, and so on...

if this is your first Enemy of the State, make sure you have a Steve Rogers ready to go.. if possible.

Except that this time, the "this event" list of boosted characters includes two 2*s (OBW and 2* wolvie). It was not entirely clear which of the two would be essential. Especially if you didn't know that the story of enemy of the state is wolverine-focused.
