Bullseye and Moonstone

Since their remake and the 2/3/4 essential change, I don't think I've ever seen them being required for an essential or even weekly boosted whereas Johnny is required every other week. They are basically just sitting on 2k hp worth of slots and it is irritating. Is it safe to dump them?

They have been essential in prior PVE but not as often as Johnny Storm or Captain America. Normally Heroes are buffed/essential much more than Villains. You can always keep a few in your Pending Roster instead of selling them right away just incase they become essential again. Always good to have 1 or 2 rotating roster slots for situations such as this.0 -
There are only a handful of PvE's that can have villains as essentials. Prodigal Sun, The Simulator, Deadpool vs MPQ and The Gauntlet. So those will be the only times when you'll see any of the 2* Dark Avengers featured. Up to you if you want to keep them for that or not.0

They need to run a Dark Avengers vs Ultron.0 -

If you have seen them being required, I will keep them. Thanks.0 -

Does Meet Rocket & Groot have Dark Avengers other than Juggernaut? I seem to recall that it doesn't, at least in the 1st sub essentials. 2nd and 3rd sub are all Mystique and Doom, so no problems there.0 -

The fact that there is no conflict is not the point, the point is Meet Rocket and Groot is a Heroes story. Prodigal Sun is a Villains story and the rest are kinda neutral. I SUPPOSE you could call Meet Rocket and Groot neutral but you do fight an awful lot of villains in it.0 -
Despite reworking her Black (it's a lot more usable now), Moonstone's other two abilities still need to be looked at. She's been basically obsolete since Johnny Storm was released; the only benefit to using Moonstone is that she's a bit more more durable than him.
Gravity Warp needs to allow the user to select both of the tiles to swap. It wouldn't be overpowered to allow this. At present it's too unreliable to use. The damage element (for when no special tiles are present) could be scaled back a little as a tradeoff - it's overpowered when she's powered up, which tends to be the case when you're fighting her.
Photon Blast would be a solid ability, except that Torchie's Fireball is better - it's cheaper (8 AP to trigger, and you get 2 AP back, vs. 11 AP for Photon) and usually does more damage - Photon Blast needs at least 4 red tiles on the board to match it, and since you need more Red AP to start with, that might not be the case. I'd suggest increasing either its base damage or the damage per red. If the damage must be the same, add a secondary effect whereby it destroys half of the red tiles on the board.0 -

So she can 1 shot you when superscaled in Story events.. no thanks...0 -

Actually, I did use Moonstone a couple of early rounds in both the Ultron runs. Being able to move his bomb tiles around was pretty helpful in the early going. Now that she has a decent steal power, she might work even better.0 -
I have 2 rotating 2* roster slots. I use one for the current PVE and the other to build the next 2* for PVE. They get no ISO but they get covers. This way I have the essential characters and can feel ok to sell my old covers. My biggest fear is going into a PVE for a new 4* and not having the essential 2*. I only have three 2* leveled for DPDQ. I might be 1600 HP in roster space for me but it works0

Um.. she's already doing that. I mean, if you let her get 11 red AP you are taking serious damage. Buffing it so it's playable in the player's hands should be the priority, not PvE scaled enemy concerns.0 -

Well, like I said, I am sensitive to how much Gravity Warp hurts when she's buffed and on the enemy side, and you don't have any special tile generators to neuter it - so I suggested that its damage should be rebalanced in that regard.
Like Lerysh said, Photon Blast needs buffing so that it's worthwhile to bring her along in the first place. It's ridiculous that it does less than Fireball, has no secondary effects, is reliant on the state of the board, and yet costs more. In fact I'm suspecting that Fireball might actually be ludicrously inexpensive for what it does. The issue of how much damage it does while she's buffed can be handled by rebalancing the scaling on it at higher levels.0 -
I've never seen Moonstone essential, but I do know the last run of Prodigal Sun had Bullseye the 2* essential. I remember having to build him for that event well, as it won me my first Prof X blue lol.0
