Question about who to max

So I have max covered the following 3* and all at 135 level

Beast, BP, GSBW, Blade, CASR, Cap Marvel, Daken, DareD, DocD, Gamora, HT, IF, Mystique, Psylocke, RG, SW, Sentry, Mo'storm, Hulk, Punisher, Lazy Thor, Patch, IM40, Falcon, Loki, She-hulk, Hood,

Max Covered or missing 1 to 2 covers at level 135
Colossus, Mag, Deadpool, Cage, SG


If you had to level up 3-4 of these to max to start getting better placement in PVP, which would they be? Hoping to get some help. Thanks.

    With the exception of Iron Fist and Cage (when he's covered), why max any of them more than the others? At level 135, with weekly buffing any of those that are buffed are going to be well beyond level 166, and none of them are quite good enough to go at 166 vs the characters-of-the-week. I think the strategy of leveling a couple strong characters to the max and using them all the time is no longer the way to go. I'm in a very similar place as you and I've been spreading my Iso among them by just moving each of the buffed characters up 5 or 10 levels each time their week comes around.

    I was previously just leveling everyone together, but I'm at that point where I don't want to play pve too much, and switch to pvp. I think I'll do it your way...it'll cost less per week and get the ones I need up

    IF for sure he is a better scarecrow than most others, and cage.

    Plus IF teams well.

    Scarlet witch is prb one of the best new pairing characters, but more w 4* imo. Px and jean for example.
