Poor contrast for new Steam UI

I don't know what was wrong with the old yellow UI popups, but the new medium blue ones have extremely poor contrast against the black and red text. This causes eye strain when trying to read it.

    For someone with vision and visual processing issues I completely agree, the update makes the game worse.
