What cheat is this guy using?

So I joined a brand new pvp bracket today at 2. Started playing right away to climb as much as I can before I have to let health packs refresh. Now I'm rocking a 250 HB, 166 IF, Cage, and Loki. Then along comes this guy. First screenshot is his first page of his roster (sorry, couldn't figure out how to do it as an image, it was telling me it couldn't find the dimensions). Spoiler: lvl 94 2*s. He also has a lvl 78 3/1/4 cage. Now this guy managed to start after me and climb to 910 before I had even cracked 400.

Obviously he's not really playing the matches because that roster could hardly win against 240s, let alone do it so fast. And he's probably being hidden from the queue too or he'd be obliterated. Is this a known trick? Is it wide spread? Kinda takes the legitimacy of placement rewards if people are playing like this.

we had his alliance mate in s1 last event... he managed to hit 9 people in 11 minutes, winning all of the matches, with a similar deck...

there's definitely something fishy going on with them & that alliance...
