Roster Help, I Beg Of You!

Ok, so here's my story: I've been playing this game for awhile. I believe I'm on day 430+. I am as casual as it gets. I play whenever I get a chance, but I always make sure and do the DDQ every day. I've only missed a couple the entire time (I don't have The Vision, so those are the ones I haven't finished). I've done very little PvP. However, last night I jumped in on the last four hours of "Unholy Outlaw," played for a couple hours, shielded for the last 90 minutes, and ended up finishing 3rd. That was awesome! Especially since I needed some more icon_ironfist.png covers.

So here's my query: I think my roster is starting to get pretty ok, but I'm not sure where I should focus if I want to be more competitive across the board. Ideally, I'd like to be able to finish well in whatever I decide to play, be it PvE or PvP. Would someone take a look at what I've got and tell me where to focus my ISO, some good team comps I already have, and who I should try and cover next? I'd appreciate it a lot!     First off, take the time to do the Iso-8 brotherhood PVE coming up and max out doom. 5/3/5 is a monster for PVP. He can 1 shot some big guns with enough tiles out, and when boosted, can 1 shot a hulkbuster.

    Your over-all roster is pretty nicely formed. Since you are admittedly casual, pick and choose your PVP's, go for covers you need that are easy T100's, and if you can get a good 700+ score, merc some to get extra covers.

    Not much else in the way of advice to give, just keep trucking!

    My key characters seems to be close to what you have...

    My current main combination is either Cage, Doom, Deadpool, Loki (and the essential character)

    I have my Doom at 355... so he can feed Cage black. His attack tiles are nice but I find them distracting trying to protect them from getting matched so I find black is better invested towards Cage.
    I Use Deadpool to chop guys health in half then finish with Cage.
    ...and like Malcrof said, Doom purple power played carefully will down anyone by himself or can clean up after Deadpool's slicing.

    For lighter rounds, I use Ares, Deadpool/Gamora/Cage that delivers decent punches at quick low cost.
    For heavy goon rounds, I use Mohawk, 355 Captain America (only my modern 2* is usable) and Original Black Widow/essential.

    Like you, my 4*s aren't usable and I don't have enough covers for Fist, Panther, Witch, Kamala, Daken, Falcon to suggest anything for them... but from What I read, the characters I just mentioned would be your next focus.
