Performance improvement in R80?

In the past, when playing on my ancient iphone 4s, if I took a call or sent a text while playing the app would restart. Most of the time if I even allowed it to go to standby/sleep it would have to restart. Lost lots of matches from that.

I was playing today and my wife called, so I answered knowing that i'd lose the match (1* ddq who cares). Ended the call and didn't even look assuming it would have to restart. Took my phone out about an hour later and the match was still running.

Anyone else on an older device noticing this? If so, they dropped the ball even when improving something by not telling us they did it as part of the patch notes. More likely, it was probably an accident. icon_lol.gif

    Funnily on my 4s it now crashes more often.Especially in chat. Never had a problem before. The call example you gave is standard. Just wish I could leave the app to check something else, and not auto-losing a match because of it. Taking a phone call is the only thing that works during a game.
