Loki's 'Mischief' ability glitch?

I know it says that it fires on any color match of 4 or more - does that include team-up tiles? Twice the opposing team made a match 4 using teacups during a match and 'Mischief' didn't fire.

Didn't know if it was a glitch or not.

    One of the devs (Will? Anthony? Somebody.) posted about this shortly after adding the ability. They said the description "a match-four or more of any color" is deliberately written to exclude team-up tiles, since TUs are not colored tiles (they're not shuffled by Illusions under the same language). It was done as a sort of safety valve to keep Mischief from being too powerful an AP denier.

    Plus there currently are no countdown team-up tiles. Not to suggest there shouldn't be, but I'd wait for something splashier than Mischief to add that to the game.

    Or any special tiles on TU, for that matter.

    Well, OK, TU symbols can host traps and locks. But generally they don't. I suppose that doesn't explicitly stop Loki from stealing on TU matches, but it's why he doesn't.
