lmao - on a whim I thought I'd try the old **thormneto team since I'd be using cap for my pve clear. turns out it was ninja day (I do this early and didn't check). still worked out but thor and storm were low on health by mid-way. by then its pretty easy to finish though. gives me 4 green for shulkie - decently usable now.

For some reason I cannot access the Taco Vault. I could at first, but now the screen just goes black when I try. Anyone else have a similar issue?

    Ninjas. The bane of DDQ.

I nearly wrecked on wave 1 today, all those wretched Strength in Numbers CD tiles kept spawning in bad spots, and I couldn't collect enough AP to get abilities rolling. OBW was one hit away from being down, Storm was one hit away, and Thor was down below 1/2 health, before I finally downed the first ninja and got going.

    My She-Hulk's now 1/3/3.

On the downside, I pulled the 10 tacos from last batch, and only got 1500 ISO and a Ragnarok for my trouble. Stupid Ragnarok.
  • Ninjas. Possibly one the main reasons that Apple's earnings are up as it usually ends up in a thrown iPhone across the room. I mean they are leagues harder than every other combo for every other day by a factor of 5. And it's total luck on board setup from the beginning with those stupid Teits throwing out Numbers by the bulk, and their dumb Up in Smoke. On try #4. Thank goodness for the new DDQ health packs.
  • Ninjas for She-Hulk... awesome

Bailed after dying 5 times in wave 1, and actually don't feel that bad.

Don't remember ninjas one-shotting my team without having strike tiles out, but they sure did today.

  • My go-to team for every single DDQ in that last survival node to get the cover is always:
    She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan.
If the ninjas are about to smack me with something, I try and put Marvel out front to generate some red and black. She-Hulk's bottom-clearing AoE is handy, Marvel's AP generation and stun are good, and Kamala's heal, green generation and Fisty McDamage AoE is great.

My daily team is 3Thor, Punisher, OBW. OBW for steals and cd tile handling.. a couple times, things like meteor hammers have killed off Thor before the final round.. with 30 black and red AP, pun pun can solo the final round of ddq all by himself (even on the big 4thor day) and he is only level 140 (4/5/4). I use his red to finish off goon waves to make sure i get first shot in 2 and 4.. never fails (well, almost never)

Glad to get another Deadpool Purple, my third. It took me the longest time to even get my first.

my third too - its been pretty elusive, but there is another in the simulator, so that will make 4 at least. for now, witch's purple is still much better for me - slightly more damage and a 5 turn stun.

Deadpool got his Sperm Whale today! icon_deadpool.png
  • Only had 1 DP black, got his first purple today. Im at that point where I am actually having most of the essentials to actually do DDQ on a daily basis icon_e_smile.gif

Just make sure to go into prologue once a day and do a level 1 node to get your deadpool points, you now get to WHALE nodes!

Been playing for over a year and I never got a DP purple from tokens. The only 2 purple covers I have are from ddq. So yeah definately an elusive cover.

Dead Pool now complete. Just waiting a couple of reds for a respec
  • As much as I hate to fan the conspiracy flames, the BE seems to have gotten markedly more difficult for me as of late... like in the past week or so.

Same team as always, same techniques, but I'm beginning to average at least 1-2 failures in a day, not including the infamous ninja days (Die ninjas! DIE!)... it's certainly not a huge deal.

I normally just wait the 6 hours until my team is healed and try again, usually succeeding at some point later in the day, as opposed to the morning, as I did before.

I'm sure it's nothing, but it sure does feel a bit "stealth-buffy..."

Might consider a different team. I often defeat it have taking 0 damage on any of my characters. 3* Thor, 2* OBW, and 2* Storm. Build AP on waves 1 and 3. Activate Anti-Gravity Device to extend if needed, otherwise, save for Wind Storm bombs on waves 2 and 4. Usually going into the 4th wave I have nearly 30 of both blueflag.png and greenflag.png AP. The main thing is Thunder Strike into Lightning Storm generates ridiculous AP, all with OBW stealing on top with Aggressive Recon and Espionage. I admit the ninjas are more challenging, but I usually clear all the attack tiles fairly quickly with Lightning Storm.

Substitute 2hor for Lhor, and that's the exact team I run, and have run since the first time I beat it.

You also described the exact technique I have been using for months now.

As I said previously, what is intriguing isn't that I'm wiping more, it's that I'm wiping with the exact same team I've used for many months, and it's not only on ninja days, it's also days like today, with enemies who are usually not all that difficult.

Thanks anyway for the suggestion though.

Glad to hear you're using the same team. I used 2hor until my lhor was high enough. It became significantly easier with lhor only because they deal about twice as much damage. icon_e_biggrin.gif
