Alliance Commander quandry

So we've got a 4 Commanders in our Alliance, and during Enemy of the State, one of them said he was quitting after the event. Since that message, he hasn't put up any points at all and is completely out of communication. Normally, as one of the other Commanders I'd usually just kick him and take on a new member, but since he's also a Commander, I don't have that option.

Is there any recourse in the game to remove an inactive Commander? Or would we all have to just leave a make a new Alliance? That seems like overkill...

open a ticket with support, they will remove him or de-commander him if he is inactive

doubtful it happens before end of season though

Apparently a Commader can only be demoted after 2 full weeks of inactivity. So yeah, we're handicapped for Jean Grey.

Tempted to just bail and start a new Alliance with everyone else and fill up the free spot.

The alliance creator can get it done quicker than that. If the non active is the alliance creator, you may be out of luck though

Honestly I have no idea who the creator was or if they're even still in the Alliance

Then your quickest recourse is to leave and form a new alliance. It sucks, but your problem will be over. We had to do it a few seasons ago.

Yeah we're discussing that right now. I have an email out to D3 to see if they can tell me when this guy's last activity was. If he's logging on daily and doing the DPD but no other participation, then we'd basically never be able to kick him and would have to just leave. My only worry there is that anyone who may be away from the game for a day for any reason may miss the memo...

However, if he's been gone for 13 days and we just have to wait until tomorrow have him demoted, I'd be willing to wait. Of course that depends on how speedily D3 would fulfill that request.

It's sounding more and more like we may indeed have to just jump ship icon_e_sad.gif
