You don't join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a "fresh" bracket at your own risk.

Useful info to provide

1)Time slice you are in
2)Current amount of people in bracket
3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.

    The idea is that people can join the event later and get into a bracket with few other players to have a better chance at higher placement.

    It can be a gamble at times, but when it works out, it can be a means to some solid prizes for fewer days spent in the grind.

    if you join a new bracket, it means you have higher percentage to get into placement. if you holdout too long you may never get into a fresh bracket. it's a double edge sword,

    slice 2 rolled over maybe an hour or so ago...250 currently in bracket, #1 is Big Batda w/ 3067.

    don't really recognize the names at the top, but i'm pretty sure it's a vet bracket

    Just putting it out there now that I'm looking for slice 3 updates this time around.

    Any help?

    Slice 3 typically fills around 3am EDT. If no one posts, I'll be jumping in first thing in the morning (not going to bust my **** to be in the top 50 for a mediocre character, just after progression).

    I don't really get the strategy here.
    How do we use this information, and what do we try and do?

    I mean, if I join and it says I'm rank #300, then won't it still keep filling up until it gets to 1000 regardless?

    Getting a fresh bracket gives you a big advantage. Say you joined that slice at 300, 8 hours later I join that same bracket. Regardless of what number I come in at, I'm still at least a full refresh behind. Joining within minutes of a bracket turning over gives you the best chance at top placement or at least top 10

    Bummer. Slice 2 was at 887. Big Batda leads with 8441, with helio93 in second at 7149. I also see seikami in the top 10 and he has top 2 potential if he feels like it.
