Do I level 3* heroes above lvl. 94???

I'm looking for opinions on whether I should level up my budding 3* champions past my maxed out 2*'s??

I only have 2 at the moment, I've levelled Loki up to 100 (he can go up to 104) and Captain Marvel is at 94 but could go to 102.

I have a large roster of up and coming 3* characters and would like to know what people's thoughts are on how to make the transition. Does it badly effect the level of your PVE/PVP games? Will I be out gunned if I get lucky with covers and blast my Captain Marvel up to 110 for example?

A bit of sagely advice would be most useful.

Cheers!

Hold off until you have covers for them. It's exciting to get them and level them up, but until you have, say, at least 10 covers, and ideally five in one useful colour, they will be sitting on your bench.

I don't' think 102 huts scaling but I would not take any above 104 until you have a big stable of ***s ready. if you don't have them covered, leaving them at 94 is fine.

I would not level loki above 94. He is a funny character in that his powers don't get any better at all with levels. so you have to balance the benefit of more health with the detriment of taking more damage due to tanking colors. He is not someone you want as your highest level character.

Conversely, Cap. Marvel is someone you actually want to tank several colors so that you can take advantage of her yellow passive.

And as for general guidance on leveling 3*s:

    (1) 3*s don't tank for similarly colored 2*s until they get to 104. Leveling them freely up to then probably isn't a problem
    (2) Many players, including myself, didn't see much of an effect on scaling when they took one or two 3*s up to 120 or so, but your results may vary.
    (3) You DEFINITELY want to avoid a situation where you have 1 3* at 150 plus and nothing else above 94. You will have a hard time doing much of anything when your one 3* is unavailable for any reason. so IMO it's better to wait until you have 2-5 3*s (preferably a well-matched set that makes one or two good teams) at 10+ covers before leveling.

Great stuff, thank you, that's exactly what I needed to hear. My Loki is already 100, but I can just leave him be and it sounds like 104 is a good spot for Captain Marvel. I'd heard something about level 104 before but couldn't remember what exactly.

Great to hear that the scaling shouldn't be too bad at 104 too so thank you again icon_e_wink.gif
