So community scaling is dead...

...still I have noticed that the points value in the EotS subs goes up over time - quite dramatically so for the survival nodes.

Is that an effect of personal scaling? (I didn't check enemy levels whether they, too, increased but didn't notice any massive spikes in difficulty)
Or is that a global thing to allow late starters a chance to compete?

I don't remember this happening in earlier events without community scaling, but it could be that I didn't pay enough attention and only now noticed with the large number of survival nodes...

    points escalating is rubber banding

levels of the ai opponent's escalating is scaling

i think there is more rubber banding than usual because some of the survival nodes are worth a lot of points and there are some non-optimal players out there driving up the scores early. so even if you are on an optimal schedule, you may see some rubber banding on the node point values on your second and third clear.
