player rank

a grumbler

I would like to make a suggestion about display of "player rank" within an event.

Looking under event rewards you can chose to see your own rank or the top rank players.
If you are coming 173rd you are not really interested in what the top score is yet, but just need to see how much you need to grind to get to the next couple of levels:

So I suggest the choice of display should be centered on the player rank as now and on the next tab, score of the player at the next level up, be it 500th or 10th etc.
Would that be possible?

If that's too hard to program, maybe the next tab could be "next 10 players higher"

They'll get read in the suggestion forum as well, but just not by the general player base. The devs have stated that they read the suggestion forum regularly.

But they never acknowledge that a suggestion has been read.

I'd like a thread in there that lists every suggestion made, so we don't get the same ones over and over (and over and...). It would have a section "Don't even think about suggesting these again, it will never happen", followed by "They said they might do these", followed by "They said they will do these", and last "Who knows".

This is true, and Suggestion Forum is a great place to suggest things for the devs.
The more recent Q&A videos also suggest that they value threads/comments/questions/suggestions which have received a high number of upvotes. So while that practice is in place, I think that cross posting to General is a good idea.
