Glowing Crystal Synergistic?

So I jus started playing and I was wondering, sometimes there's a glowing Crystal above the left shoulder of my hero. Sometimes its different colors and sometimes different sizes also. Wondering if this is a synergy boost? Certain group identifier?

It indicates that a character is boosted for the current event. That means that its level is increased by some amount. The different color/size of crystals indicate different boosts. Characters featured in an event receive stronger boosts than characters boosted for the week.

Ahh Ty Meekers, it's greatly appreciated. So I'm guessing the white type glowing Crystal is just the level boosted hero's and I'll probably just stick with my 3 highest rainbow group. But those red orange slightly larger crystal must mean boosted in some way. I'm guessing this must be connected to the very beginning summary of each event and description of boosts. So I'll ch3ck into that. Ty so much. Oh and could I also ask Ummm wth with D Doom in 2nd fight with Antman. I mix it up but still can't seem to get past and feel like I'm way over matched???

Yeah, I tend to only use a boosted character if they rival my main character's levels.

As far as the Doctor Doom node, my recommendation would depend on your roster. If you have Black Widow Original, they're strong against Doctor Doom and Goons. You may want to check out viewtopic.php?f=20&t=31218 for more tips against the later nodes as they get more challenging. You also have 30 days to finish the event, so you can take your time and build up the needed characters. In particular, I would recommend getting Captain America to 3/5/5 for the later nodes.
  • Lmao, we'll that'd be a good reason I kept getting BW on roster pulls. Haha

I would recommend Wolverine, except Salgy reported in the thread I linked (viewtopic.php?f=20&t=31218&start=140) that they managed to get Ant-Man using Daken and Wolverine. If you have to get rid of someone, I'd get rid of Storm or Magneto simply as they have the fewest covers.

Your primary goal at the moment should be obtaining as many covers and as much Iso-8 as you can. Are you able to complete the "Under the Sea" node in Deadpool's Daily Quest?

With your developing roster, finishing the Ant-Man will be quite challenging. I expect you will have to attempt nodes multiple times, perhaps succeeding when the board is more favorable.
