2000 Points in Simulator...HALLLP!

So I'm sitting at 1912 points at 17th place and obviously I'm trying to hit that sweet 2000 point mark and get another Professor X.

I was shielded and lined up some decent 40 point opponents within my reach of defeating. Beat 3 of them and got 4 points from each of them...how can they go from 40 to 4 points in the time of 1 match? Is that even possible!? icon_e_confused.gif

I beat a few more opponents for 35 - 47 points and by the time the match ended I was getting hit for enough points to negate my progress. I'm basically stuck right now spinning my tires in the mud to stay at 1900.

How can I get over this hump? icon_neutral.gif

    Can you line up some of the players in the top ten? You can be sure that their point value is above 38, if you can.

    Either that, or arrange to hit an alliance mate after they hit 2K, I guess.

    So far everyone from top 10 I lined up is 39 or less. I feel like as soon as I fight one of them I'm going to get hit for whatever I would've gained anyway. icon_mad.gif

    Two options, then, I guess.

    One, put up a shield to try and clear yourself off everyone's queues. Then boost your way through those last matches against top ten-ers.

    Two, set up a straw man team that's easily defeated to drop your score to a point where you'll be a much less appealing target, then make another run up as quick as you can.

    When i hit close to 1900 and was out of health packs, i put up a 24 hour shield. This lets countless others climb and your ranking drop. This makes for more higher point matches available to you.

    300HP in exchange for a PX cover is not a bad deal.

    I had a 24 hour shield up, right before it ended I lined up some targets, scrambled to kill them. I remembered my signature an whaled someone quick to nab professor x just before getting onslaughted for another -100 points.
