Constant Loop

Long term player and reader who loves game.

I have an issue currently where game is saying there is an update available (which I have already downloaded on android) and then in the playstore it is saying 'open' as it knows it is already downloaded.

It goes back to the game which then makes the same request.

I am now stuck in a permanent loop and can't play. Please help
