Thank you D3!
Well, I ended up selling my Thorverine for a heap of ISO and some HP. Because of that, I haven't stood a chance in the recent Best There Is, Big Thunder tourneys. Daredevil and Heroic Oscorp events are/were almost non-playable with my current roster. I didn't have to obsessively check my phone every hour, play frantically to catch up on my rank, throw my phone due to rediculous cascades, or go without sleep! I'm almost lead to believe I may have been playing too much!
I fixed up some things at the house, installed some storage equipment in my garage, sent the wife out on "vacation day" while I watched the baby, and got plenty of good sleep this weekend. All because of D3. I feel great. Thanks guys!
(This isn't a complaint thread dressed in sarcasm. I'm being serious, I feel frickin' awesome.)

I'm in the same boat. I only checked in once a day for the daily reward. No waking up early to keep up the grind. All relaxing and superbowl partying for me.0

Total agreement. This past weekend was the best rest I have had in months, and by extension, same with my wife (seems the flashing colours at 3am were keeping her awake....). Fixed the sink, scraped ice off the driveway, watched the Seahawks have fun (the start of the second half was the first time I have ever laughed out loud watching a football play, in any league. Well maybe the second time - there was the start of the first half...)
Life... it's good to be back0 -
I'm actually kind of glad for the break. It's funny, when there's too much stuff going on, I need a break; when not enough stuff going on, I want more.
This must be what it's like to be a woman. LoL0 -

+1 for you good sir.0 -
I have to admit, Ive been more productive without obsessing over MPQ. So , in an odd way its been a good thing to be this frustrated with broken events.0

i was able to spend a weekend at a casino with my girlfriend, not touch heroic mode once during the first 2 days, and i'm sitting at 5th without having to touch it since.
thanks, D3!0 -
This thread is why video games have a message like "It's a good idea to go and see the sun once in a while" when you start them.
It's really not a bad idea that you don't have to kill yourself grinding nonstop to just get a decent placement.
That said all the 'thanks I don't have to play much' sure didn't stop someone from passing me for #1 in Big Thunder in the last hour. Good thing I didn't actually need the cover.0 -
Since the game was basically broken this weekend I had to spend time with my family, they seem like nice people.0

Thank you D3 for helping break my MPQ addiction.
I have been playing the game since it came out, I have spent over 200 bucks, my roster is super buffed - but for the last few days, you gave me no incentive to play.
You have allowed me to go cold turkey (I only play 1 round a day just to collect the daily reward) and I have not spent a cent in months....
Thank you for nerfing ragnarok (my first maxed out character which I spent cash on), thank you for the fun balance, thank you for the illogical rubberbanding, and thank you for the broken PvP matches (especially the recent heroic mode you are so proud off - has anybody realized 1st prize is just a single DD cover? Do you actually expect me to grind against 230lvl opponents just for that? Besides I already got it from thick as thieves).
So thank you D3 for actually taking the effort to remove the fun from the game n pushing me out of the door.0 -

Words mean things, man. That's not cold turkey.0 -

Cold chicken or some other feathered fowl then? Haha. Yeah u r right. But getting high only once a day is good no? (That was probably Seymour Hoffman's last words)0 -
Too soon, man. Too soon.0
