Server Crash - Where's The Official Communication?

So the game servers have been down 5 hours now. In that time, not a single communication to the community. That's simply not good enough. In any other IT service industry, a P1 with complete loss of service would require hourly updates, but once again D3 have dropped the ball completely on all fronts.

    So it isn't local to me. And I concur. Why haven't we been notified?

    The server got hit by a monstrous cascade and they were outta health packs.

    Maybe cos they're in different time zones or another rational explanation?

    Sitting at 950 with shield expiring in about an hour. Really hope this gets figured out by then. I'm sure lots are in similar situations and some that have already had a shield expire unless they're #1 getting on they lose their pts.

    My imhb is at -/1/1 and having the red means I could whale him out if I decide to. Token and some hp/ISO isnt gonna be enough this time.

    I'm assuming this is the start of ant man event?

    Perhaps there's an ingame pop-up stating that the servers are down...

    They are EST, chances are the techs were working, but the devs and coms people were dead asleep.. i expect it will come soon though.

    finally had a break at work, and the game seems up now.
