Deadpool Daily Quest - Round 29 - July 8-12

my blade took 2 red cds but other than that nearly no damage with steve/falcon/blade. stoked that my fist is now 5/5/3 - looking forward to running him with Cyclops in the next pvp. he needs levels tho.

That's still my go-to BE team (3* Thor is getting close to replacing 2* Thor but he needs more green). I haven't run today yet, but I'll take +2 Blue/Purple and +2 All. That has worked for me in the past, though a bad board will still wreck you (heavy on Black and/or TU for instance).

Ninja+Ninja+Muscle is just a sadistically evil wave design. I need to say that every time it comes up.

What is your 3Thor at? at 3/3/3 he can replace the 2*!

P.S. Dear GAWD, does this BE suck. Wow. I don't think I even felt any comfort through to the end, with a "frozen for 2 more turns at 431 health" Hood in the final wave, despite having more than a couple specials in the tank. Ugh.

I prefer 3/5/5 ** thor to 3/3/3 *** thor (or anything other than X/5/X). while he damages more and has more health his sole purpose on thormneto is feeding storm green and my experience with using *** thor with less than 5 yellow covers was not successful. except for ninja days I still prefer ** thor because he allows me to farm more ap in the goon rounds and prepare for rds 2/4. *** thor almost kills too quick and I end 1/3 with less ap than when I use ** thor. although I have all but moved on from thormneto, they are my backup team now but haven't needed them yet since I switched to steve/blade/falcon

never brought storm of any variation into BE. So many different strategies, most of them work, so use what works for you with what you have!!!

Correctly using the upvote, I really resonated with your comment about "killing them too quickly."

I've had more than a few BEs wherein it wasn't a matter of simply killing everything, it was a matter of killing everything properly.

Case in point, today, all my heroes were desparately damaged by the beginning of wave 2, Barely squeeking through. By the time I got down to the Don in wave 3, it was more a matter of cat-and-mousing him to squeeze all the AP I needed out of him for the big finale.

I came into the round with nothing, like, NOTHING for AP (AGAIN. lol), and by the end, I was able to tempo-heal the team and gain enough of what I needed to make a strong stand in wave 4. 2hor was at 30 and 30 for probably over half of the elapsed time of wave 3, feeding cStorm's , while OBW was on healing, stealing, and timer duty.

I could likely have killed the entire wave 3 enemy team in about half the time, but it would have left me badly bruised and AP starved, kind of like wave 2... never a good look for waves 2 & 4, but especially not for wave 4...

Yes killing them to quickly can be a problem. The doombots are so squishy that I sometimes let them repair themselves so I can farm them a bit longer.

The best for farming has to be Maggia Don he is like a bank/ATM or something. As long as you get rid of his traps everything is good.

Finally Iron Fist is now 2,1,5 but will remain benched until I get a few more covers.

Who knows, about time for him to be winnable again. I hope.

4/4/1. Beefier than 2* Thor now and with harder-hitting R & Y, but not as effective a G battery for Storm, and the G doesn't hit nearly hard enough. My kingdom for just one more G...

EDIT: You know what, my 3* Thor worked better than I thought. The harder hits on his R & Y came in very handy for downing foes, and the 7 G still powered Storm nicely.

I had to use a +2AP All Boost, 2 allmatch damage boost, and 2 crit boosts, but I beat TBE NINJA DEATH EDITION with a team of Thor, Storm, and Magneto, at level 85 each.

3 Cap, Loki and OBW carried the day for me. Wave 4 managed to get in some specials, but by then I had so many Protect Tiles up, I could build a fort.

I don't have the greatest roster but I was able to get through this today on my 2nd try. I have a lvl 127 5 4 and I used a maxed out 2* 4-5-4 plus I used lvl 104 loki with
2-1-5 and I had some decent power ups too. Caps shield plus his lvl 166 red for the 8 red in return. Along with a cap marvel 107 proton blast. I was very lucky in matching a lot of yellow for wolverine to get some health back so I could use his maxed red which helped out a lot. I was max red after the first node with about 24 green and they helped out with the 2nd wave to destroy the team in no time.

Ares truly is one tough cookie. Knew he can single handedly take down your team. Been on the receiving end of that before.

So put him in third times a charm alone (which is either a bug or a new features of the latest update) and he took them all down singlehanded. Onslaught, rampage, sunder, game over.

Might try another loaner tommorow. Maybe Thor

Yes ninja day is definitely an acquired taste but fun nonetheless. The first time I survived their trickery l couldn't believe it.

The cover I wanted most this week was KK and not a pesky ninja in sight.
