MPQ Steam - Repeated Freezing

Today I've had MPQ crash on me 4 times on Steam.

Each crash took place after a battle had started but before 2 moves took place.
In fact they may have all occured upon requesting the first move but I can't be certain.
This happened 3 times in PvE and once in PvP.

Each time the game just shuts down, steam needs 30 seconds to synch and I can get back into the game just fine (the match counting as a loss obviously)

This could just be a fluke on my end or it could be a result of a recent update push.
