Is it just me or is it weird that Welcome to Earth, which prominently features Rocket & Groot, has no R&G covers as rewards, placement or progression both? Sure, I need that Captain Marvel 3* for completion's sake, I don't have her fully covered, but it just seems to me it would make more sense to have an R&G cover there instead, given the event.

The reason that it's not Rocket and Groot covers is that you have the Independence Event that is happening now so the game decided to do both the Simulator and this event to have covers related to the event which is Falcon and Captain Marvel

Only the events featuring The Hulk and Sentry have a guaranteed cover for the "featured" character (and it's only from clearing a specific node on one of the sub events). For every other event, the featured characters are the reward from the previous event (Captain Marvel was the placement reward for the previous event, now she is the featured character from the event tokens and is offered as the final progression reward).

This is how it has been for as long as I can remember.

Nope. Human Torch (Human Torch is the placement prize for this event).

I thought this was silly the first time I played it too. What's worse was that they were vaulted at the time so there was exactly 0% chance of getting R&G from playing their event. At least now you have a slim chance from the event tokens.
