Spider-Gwen

Abilities:
yellowflag.png(Passive) Great Responsibility!: Gwendolyn Stacy takes one for the team! Unless Gwen is at 50% health, and as long as you have at least 7 yellow AP Gwen will move to the front of the line before an enemy attack that deals 300 or more damage. Create a strength X protect tile randomly on the board. Strength depends on number of webbed tiles present.
2 Covers: Protect tile strength increased by 25%
3 Covers: Requires 6 yellow AP
4 Covers: Requires 5 yellow AP
5 Covers: Requires 4 yellow AP

blueflag.png 6 AP Web Slingin'!: Gwendolyn Stacy swings through with her webs and knocks out an opponent! Create a webbed tile and deals 415 damage. Deals extra damage for each webbed tile already on the board.
2 Covers: Damages the first two enemies.
3 Covers: Create two webbed tiles and damages the entire enemy team.
4 Covers: Deals 750 damage.
5 Covers: Deals 950 damage.

purpleflag.png 12 AP Spider-Ham?!: Spider-Ham(or at least in Gwen's mind via a figment of her own imagination) seemingly hops into the battle to aid Gwendolyn through the fight! Heals Gwen for 250 health and creates 3 random strength 50 protect or strike tiles on the board. Consumes webbed tiles to heal extra points of damage.
2 Covers: Creates attack tiles as well.
3 Covers: Heal 450 health points. Creates 4 strength 65 protect, or strike tiles on the board.
4 Covers: Heal 600 damage. Creates strength 95 protect or strike tiles on the board.
5 Covers: Heal 850 damage. Creates 6 allied special tiles.(protect or strike)

    Make the yellow place a web tile, as though she needed to sling in to prevent the damage.

    She's sustainable at that point.

    Really like the blue, not much in the way of damage in the 3* level for blue, it is usually a CD tile or a passive.

    Still don't understand giving the spiderfolk the ability to heal others...

    Solid char, the yellowflag.png makes it sound like she is meant to tank, which would be on par with the low damage aoe.

    Thanks! I gave her a healing ability mostly just for herself to compensate for her yellow power. It's fine when it's a character with high health like colossus but I can't see how a Spider-Man/Spider-Woman could have high health like him so I made her almost like deadpool. To be honest, I also couldn't think of any other attack for her. I added in Spider-Ham as an assist because I noticed how prominent of a character Spider-Ham is to Spider-Gwen, even outside the spider-verse storyline.

    What if we took the snarky Spider-Man approach, and went a bit Starlord? Like, "oh, that must have hurt. And a girl did that to you. That must frustrate you"...

    So enemy abilities cost more if more of Gwen's tiles are in play; consumed when she uses an ability or something.


    Call it, "beat by a girl" or something.

    Gwen deals damage to the enemy and makes a smart remark, destroying enemy tiles and placing a countdown.png tile in play. While in play, enemy abilities cost x much more.

    We do though, need something for The Mary Janes. They are a big part of her storyline, so maybe put that to use?

    yellowflag.png Music to my ears: passive. Gwen becomes inspired by the sweet melodies of The Mary Janes. Whenever she makes a yellowflag.png match, places a CD tile that increases her match damage for X turns.

    Scale % increase of match damage, cd tile turns with covers. CD tile resets whenever she makes another yellow match.
