    Because i don't care that much about the wiki. Visited it once, a year ago, and it was a mess.
    I get all my needed info on the forums.
    Feel free to do so, though. It's on a 2 week rotating cycle with a total of 10 fights.

    whats worse is them together. that is tough. just a race to kill muscle and then if theres any strikes out, get those and oh yeah, the cheap red cds that they spam by then. not easy.

    Made it to the final round, Punisher was alive , mostly, and had enough AP to possibly give it a go.. but a cascade finished off wave 3 unintentially.. leaving round 4 with first move, tons of AP and a mess o strike tiles out... if only i hadn't gotten that cascade.. Punisher could have made me a mess o tiles and i could have won.

    But i didn't, OBW and 3Thor died before the first goon died in round 3, surprised how well pun pun holds up in there all alone.

    Need T50 in venom heroic, so since my blade is maxed, i may or may not even go back to try again on this one..

    I haven't wiped on The Big E for weeks (doing it every day), but Ninjas and Muscle.. that's a nasty, nasty combo. Didn't make it to round 2 today.

    While I miss her old ability (even if I rarely could use it), Moonstone's black was a godsend today. OBW with four stolen threaten tiles plus an odd attack tile or two and backed up by 2*Thor really made short work of waves 2-4. I probably got a little lucky, but this team has been as consistent as you can hope from a pure 2* team against muscle/ninja survival nodes.

    Yeah, I might actually let go of trying to earn my second Blade card and just call it a day.

    DDQ is the only part of MPQ that is truly enjoyable for me these days, so I'm not interested in ruining it for myself by failing too many times in the same day.

    Really wish they'd do something about enemies that drop attack/strike tiles AFTER you kill them...

    Muscle+Ninja day is the only one into which I feel I have to take AP boosts. +2 Blue/Purple and +2 All, with my go-to team of OBW + Thor + CStorm. That puts you at 4 blue AP to start, so only 7 away from your first Wind Storm, or 5 away from your first Anti-Gravity. The usual "build AP in wave 1 to take into wave 2" strategy doesn't apply today. You have to nuke wave 1 and nuke it fast, before the dead-ninja tiles combine with a Threaten resolution to bleed you out. Oh yeah - don't forget the cheap fast red countdowns from the ninjas either!

    It's an outright sadistic wave design. You need a very lucky board to get through it unscathed.

    Got through relatively unscathed today for the 4th Blade black.

    Was expecting a bloodbath so subbed out the usual 2* team (obviously retaining the services of OBW) and took Lazy Thor and Magneto classic instead.

    Was not taking the chance of wasting healthpacks when there is a heroic on.

    I decided I would make one final stand, and used a bunch of my "retired" mega boosts.

    Oh, and I agree, your usual AP gathering strategies do NOT work on these days! cStorm's green gets TONS of play!

    Anyhoo, it wasn't pretty, but I got my second Blade card!

    I had a bad feeling when a ninja got off a countdown on my team of Steve Rogers, Loki and OBW, but then OBW got enough blues for an Anti Gravity Device and Rogers got enough red for a Star Spangled Avenger and it was off to the races. Ended the whole thing relatively unscathed, even if that jerk Gorgon did Awaken The Hand once. I had so many protect tiles that it didn't even matter at that point.

    always feel lucky to finish first try on ninja days. don't wipe much but still using ** thormneto team. storm and thor didn't have much left at the end, but got the job done. might insert Lthor next ninja day.

    That's why if I really need the cover on ninja day I have started taking magneto classic along. Otherwise I stick with the two stars because I like the challenge and doing it with the two stars is more fun.

    Apparently they came up with it to help transitioners. So two stars would still be used in that case. If it was to easy there would be no point in doing it anyhow.

    Magneto's coercive field protect really helps with pesky ninjas. If your lucky it can even over right countdowns but it is a bit hit or miss.

    Actually just completed him. Pulled the only blue from the vault. Then pulled kk green from a standard. Must be one of the lucky token days for me.

    Doing it the old school way is better but lazy Thor does help with those ninjas.

    If I don't need the cover sometimes I do it with different teams but for blade black was not taking any chances.

    I use to think that taking the ninjas out last was a good idea but some time ago I decided to get them out first to help destroy their TTS tiles...I still use my tried-and-true team of OBW/ XF/ 2hor and I have not been wiped in months (even when the TTS bug was happening). I am slowly bringing 3hor up to snuff but I need more yellow, currently 4/2/5 then TBE will be even easier.

    I also got my 3rd Patch green today bringing him up to 3/2/4...I snagged the 4th yellow from simulator last night going for the 2k prize of PX blue but I hit the 166 wall around 1650...either way with that play through I grabbed my 5th Loki green, 5th Vision red, and that 4th Patch yellow so I am happy about that. May take another stab at it tonight to see if I can't squeak in and grab the 2k for PX blue...my crew of 138's have beaten lvl225+ enemies so hopefully I can find some good matches worth enough points
