    Carnage black for first is a bit rough. Means his black is still the hardest to get, and that we'll likely see either red or green for 1k in the next one. My 3/0/3 Carnage weeps for not having board spam.

    Yeah, it was Cage Match before, wasn't it? Maybe people were confused and thinking Luke Cage should be featured in that PvP.

    I'm just glad to know that I'm not going crazy. This is more in line with the current naming trend of using bad puns. Cage Match didn't seem particularly appropriate, especially with Wolvie's fancy white suit.

    For all the non-English players (or at least German), the name is still "Cage Match", except in the image itself, where it says "Sharp Dressed" in English. It always takes at least 2 runs of something before the non-English updates come through

    why are these threads always so sparse?

    why don't people share who they are using and some of the crazy difficult teams you've faced or skipped?

    i just started and having my patch buffed up to 262 should get me pretty far.
    also daredevil buffed to 180 ain't nothing to ignore.
    not sure who i should be using as my 3rd.

    my hood is buffed only to 180 and only has 2 blue covers :/

    might try 150 **storm who can collect blues from DD.

    yeah so my 2 blue hood is useless.

    and my maxed deadpool insists on jumping right in the line of fire when i want patch to take the dmg and heal. so DP just dies a quick death.

    storm worked out ok.

    hulk turned out p good as well.

    Mine has black and I weep or more correctly wince everytime I use him.

    Which ain't very often.

    I had seed teams at the beginning. Fed on them to break 100 pts in the event. You probably entered too late.

    Since you asked so nicely. . . I was soft climbing w/ a 120 patch, 166 laken, 166 cage. Now switched over to max patch/hood (buffed as well), plus a 141 loki.

    It's quite deadly because Loki (at 5 bk) can turn all the bad pur enemy strike tiles (from patch gr) to protect tiles. However, Hood tanks yel/bk/bl and takes a lot of damage. The combo is also relatively slow. But it offers rainbow coverage, and that makes me happy. icon_mrgreen.gif

    I do alot of that on my stream, actually. You can see who I'm facing and what characters I'm using.

    And the reason these threads are so sparse is because someone from the community(not d3) does them, and people don't like to work for free.

    Definitely. Also, if you have a fully covered Doc Ock (especially at 553) you can match enemy tiles to spam out attack tiles that take advantage of your strike tiles. Once you have enough blues, you can spin the board to eliminate enemy tiles and do major damage. Thus, a loki/ock teamup would also work well with patch in creating a fast combo doing passive damage per turn. Of course, not many players have a fully covered Ock, much less a high level one.

    Just got to 1k pts on my stream(check it out if you want to see the lay of the land) - wanted to get to 1,300 but didn't really need to(plus gamora prizes bleh). Got attacked as I reached 950 pts which was annoying, but understandable. I guess a 290 patch can only deter ppl so much icon_razz.gif

    The fact that Patch is my only 166 means I posted a personal record PVP score, done mostly on the backs of Luke Cage and Daredevil (at levels 140 and 128 before boosts, respectively). Broke 575, but not by much. Since I was nearly out of health packs by then, I decided to shield and call it good.

    I was number 67; hoping that I can hang on to t100 so that I earn back enough HP to go back over the 800 for my next slot. (Still hoping to swipe a fresh-ish bracket for the Hunt tomorrow AM. Two days of solid driving during the PVE event means I decided not to enter, but it would be fun to get Ben in time for his being required.)

    Wolveroach shielded at 665 with nearly a day to go at about #60, got a couple of defensive wins and ended up at 679 for #100. Yippee!

    Moon Roach ended up at #26, tied for points with the guy on #25. Boo!

    with the added 1300 pt target, I really figured there'd be more pts out there to be had than I found. hopping was useless - all I could find was 20-28 pt matches except for the fistbuster types. had a tough time finding pts and my patch only has 3 yellow, so made it to 827 using my 127 patch/140 cmags/142 loki. boosteds for the week are not great for me, so might be a long week.
