I love the changes to the simulator. I have a developing 3* roster soft capped around level 120 and I am seeing a lot of 2* rosters worth 40-60 points.
This is awesome because, well, easy points. But it also means that such teams are able to score high and get the kinds of rewards needed to make progress. While not a big a boost as Deadpool Daily was, it does make the simulator a lot of fun to play. Good job, devs.0 -
It is possible to get to 2000 for
Of course, I rode the back of , , and / all at 166. I fought Lady Thor and some others I haven't really fought yet(I've been more leaning on PVE so far, and doing PVP but just to get top 100 in each event).
I am at 2021 and expect to fall, but my goal was to get Prof X and I did so don't really care what happens now. If I need to earn back points before the season closes, cool.
My defense is Thor/IF/Cage right now.0 -
with rags the award for FFW I wonder if we have a thing event or a rags event after. at least we got in patch and cap - a couple of good characters that needed (and still need) work for me. 1 more cap blue and 2 patch yellows and they're done. good first half of a season. could've done with out marvel again, but I'd rather repeat her than beast or doc ock.0

I'm still trolling with level 180 5/5/3 Devil Dinosaur, level 152 3/1/3 Carnage, and level 130 5/3/5 Doctor Octopus.
I play this event every couple of days, climbing another few hundred points, and yesterday got to 1400. No retaliations, no attacks. Things might well change as the event starts to wind down.0 -
I made the hop up to 2000 using for my 1st and then went and pulled another from an EOTS token (back of the net).....I found the above team worked very well and while I have been knocked back to around 1750pts I have had a good number of retal wins (although these have probably netted me around 100pts where I have lost a good 300 - 350 pts from the losses)
All in all, very happy with the changes to the Sim, it's worth climbing to the 2k mark and you get a nice selection of HP and 3*'s (although the only one I did need was )0 -
Need some help on Shield Sim. Made it to 1850 points with a Level 94 2* and 3* roster and bought a 1 day shield because I couldn't keep up with the losses with a very limited list of new opponents showing up. Any suggestions on what to do from here? Number 10 in my bracket is at 2133 points (Number 1 at 2361). Would this mean there could be a healthier list of opponents to choose from at higher point values nearer to 2000? and at what point values for the wins? My current 5 queued up opponents are around 30 points each, but I would guess each win will make those numbers dwindle.
Sorry for the noob questions, I've just never been this high in any PvP event. I feel like I'm so close to that 4* reward! I was just fooling around in Sim and kept winning and got sucked in I guess...
Thanks everyone0 -

florida - not really sure what to suggest. I'd only made it to 1000 once before and that was several seasons back. been a while since I ran a ** team. I'm afraid as soon as you unshield now you'll immediately be a big target for whoever is looking. I recommend making your push sooner rather than later and it might take several pushes because you're gonna be taking some damage and using health packs. the later you wait the more activity there will be. If possible, it might be best to make the push at 3-4am - that kinda sucks for some but for some people its no biggie.0 -

You were right, had to shield hop (my first hop ever), and I made it to 1976 points... and then waited until I could queue up a fight I could win, and broke 2000.
94 2* Daken/91 Patch/91 Loki carried me most of the run up to here. Loki hides the whole match, prioritize black, then fire Patch's red and green, follow with Loki black, clean up with Daken blue, win and then repeat. Didn't need too many health packs. The problem I guess is the speed. I lose quicker than I win. Especially if I take on matches against level mid-100s. Need more speed...0 -

That is amazing accomplishment with the team you used. I must admit I didn't think it would be possible when you posted earlier but apparently there are a lot of points out there to be had now. Congrats on your achievement. Out of curiosity, how much ISO did you burn looking for a fight you could win?0 -

Probably more than I should have, because for a while I didn't realize I was seeing the same choices for opponents over and over, lol. I had to spend ISO on color boosts every fight near the end. But even approaching 2000, I could eventually find teams with a few level 94's that I could take on.0 -
Hit 2k on the shield this morning, then already down to 1650 lol. Glad I could get to 2k though.
Used 127 level captain marvel tanking almost everything with patch/thor or black panther. Worked reasonably well, but since PVP can choose who they attack, they just ignore captain marvel and work my other guys I think0 -
I managed my highest ever finish for the season T150 and received my 4 tokens as rewards......and of course its 4 x 2*'s......feels like a kick to the sack....0

Following through on my forum/Reddit promise to not retaliate in the Sim probably helped cost me t250, although my horrible performance in Hotshot didn't help, either.
I ran most of the climb with 166 Patch, 140 Blade (552, since I never seem to be able to draw a green ), and Spidey, occasionally swapping Loki or Steve Rogers for the appropriate color match.
Looking forward to the next iteration!0
