Hi all,

A quick update from Demiurge:

The team are aware that players are seeing the previous (Run 2) version of Avengers VS Ultron Round 8, with the original Avengers for the required missions, instead of the new (Run 3) characters such as Vision.

We're working on correcting this quickly, and a fix should be live later today.

Thank you!

Will this address other issues encountered as well?

Ive had nodes (including the Boss fight) award zero progression points, and had the Boss fight not open after playing a side node requiring me to complete a second node to open it. Should I open tickets for those? They havent affected my progression or my alliances ability to open rounds so I havent yet.

Please also confirm if there will be an immediate 2nd run like last time or not. And any comment on the bomb damage being escalated so high?

I don't know why everyone keeps assuming there will be two runs. A single Ultron run is a single event. For its premiere (and premiere of the movie), they ran it twice. Two events in a row. They've done this for new events before, but they've never repeated the double after the opening.

People see something happen once and think its a pattern. A repeat happening once is not a pattern. If you want any pattern, it would be: sometimes they run popular new events twice in a row at the premiere, and then proceed to use them one event at a time in future iterations.

No information is being given. The only thing we have to go on is the past actions of the developer. The only other time they ran it they ran two versions, one for 3* cover and one for 4* covers. You are assuming they won't as much as we are assuming they might. The difference is, we are asking if they will or not... asking for confirmation, while you are simply deciding they won't.

I've been playing since October of 2014, and the Ultron event was the only event that I'm aware of that was run twice within 12 hours of the other ending with a totally different set of prizes and an increased difficulty level. Those of us preparing for the worst case scenario are not being ridiculous in WONDERING if there will be a second run. My Goodness.

Can't speak for the boss fight not reopening portion of it (ticket please), but on the zero progression points please double check to see if they don't actually update after you exit and reenter the sub.

This applies to all events, PVE and Versus: If you hit a bit of packet loss post battle you can run into the game trying to figure out (via the server) your exact points gain. When it can't do that for whatever reason, it'll show zero, but it'll still update what the game thought it should be locally. Then as soon as it can tap the server again it'll change that score. 99% of the time that's the same or upwards since rubberbanding or a lost battle elsewhere means you should have gained more points.

The Event will not have a second run this time around. The double run was a result of which characters were being released, the Event's run time, and the movie release schedule. This time around is just a "normal" single run of the Event.

Thank you for the confirmation! Our alliance can relax, and focus on the next event for 4* Thing.

I encountered the 0 point node only twice, and I checked score afterwards on the leaderboard and 0 points were in fact awarded. icon_e_sad.gif

I didn't say you were being ridiculous. I'm trying to get people to not assume things will happen exactly as before. For those who haven't been around as long, the only times they've run events back to back have been when they were brand new events. As far as I know, they always announced it, and after the initial opening, they've only done the same event in the future as a single event.

Lack of an announcement tells me that they're only running it once. Every time they've run a double, it was announced. Every time they've run a single, they haven't had to say anything, because it makes no sense to say "this is a single event" for every event.

    EDIT: Nm, Ice just confirmed.
