Alternate cover. It pokes fun at the fact Urich killed off a goblin to step into his role.

Advanced healing outside of combat due to exposure to Goblin Gases / serums. he'd heal at Blade's speed.

8650 HPs.

HOT HOT HOT HOT. Let's have it do GOOD flaming damage and convert a couple tiles to since he just burnt someone to a crisp.
I'm thinking, eh, 1500 damage. Something along the lines of Psylocke's , but with the ability to really get his going.

light damage all and stun all, with a caveat based on board tile density. The more the, say, , the greater the damage output.
Create X tiles for every 3 tiles destroyed.

Goblin Paraphernalia. ~7AP

Bits and bobs and wonderful toys!

Pumpkin bombs. Goblin Gas. Razor Bats. But I think this would be fun if the ability was contingent on the tile it targeted. And that would be based on covers in the ability rather than AP in the pool ala Fury. THOUGH, a bat gas - razor bat - pumpkin bomb "kitchen sink" could be fun.

If you target a tile, then it destroys a 2x2 and deals decent damage. maybe it destroys a 3x3 if fully covered.

If you target a tile, then it sends out razor bats and damages all lightly ala Punisher. No more than 650 all.

If you target a tile, then it leaves a torch-like tile that consumes black per turn but deals poison damage ~ 150 per AP consumed, reducing one AP per turn.

The is inspired! I love the choice of tile making it a different type of bomb, absolutely great! Could work this into any tinkerer/gadget maker.. could get really creative with it!

for 8 ap, it should do more than Razor's edge. So let's make it an Mags type, select 2 tiles to turn to black and deal damage.. a play on QS and Mags maybe?

Finally a 3* version of photon blast, i would lose the strike tile, maybe add strike tiles to a color on pumpkin bombs?

I really dig this; wish it was a thing. Obviously your initial thought is that it's too many abilities for a single character. But Punisher has no less than 6 abilities. He's got a damage all. It's also an attack tile generator. He's got a random 3x3 destroyer. It also generates strike tiles. He's finally got a fairly decent damaging attack. It's also a kill button if a character is under 40%.

Razor's edge is 5 AP, so yeah. A lot more damage. I do like being able to select which tiles turn black. That plays into cascades. Maybe it turns more tiles if more strike tiles are in play. He's got to be chaotic. That'd certainly keep the board moving.

No. But I say that because I want to curtail the thought that it does HEAPS of damage.

Gotta keep the strike tiles, if you want his black to have punch. He's a villain; not a team player. He has to be self sufficient. It's the reason I hate Doc Ock the most. HE SUCKS ON HIS OWN.


That's the benchmark of a villain in this game. Can they pose a threat by themselves? C. Mags absolutely can. Doom sure can. The Hood is an absolute bastard on his own, albeit squishy.

Ultron Sentry nodes are making me wish i had a covered and leveled Doc Oc. He is also great against carnage, patch, basically anyone who can spam special tiles.. and it can generate cascades as well.

Add in the match a special tile to get one, and an aoe that buffs tiles.. Doc Oc is underrated, sure he couldn't stand alone, but as a utility, he is indispensable in certain fights.

I know, not the place for it, but he is one character i am actively seeking to cover.

Good note though, am finally able to upvote you again!

Carnage makes Doc Ock look good. So does Falcon and Classic Magneto. But he's not universally good, and his green just costs too much to be good.

Adding something, since i agree on keeping the strike tiles.. are there any yellow tile generators? Mystique makes purple and black, Mags makes blue and red, IF makes black, Thor makes green, HB and Cyc also make red, does anyone add yellow tiles to the board?

Thor's the only one. I have been racking my brain as to who that character would be. electro classic seems like a prime candidate.
