So much hate...

Sorry guys...

There's just too much hate...

I've played every day for over two months (I suspect like that large majority of you), and I miss the days where I could play 2 hours at a stretch, pwn my enemies in tournies only to be pwnd back. It was chaos but it was fun and addicting. I also liked the idea of being able to advance through PvEs feeling more or less like a real Avenger / X-M(e|a)n, i.e. not getting killed by a pistol shot.

But at the end of the day still I keep coming back at least for a few rounds; 1) to keep my continuous days streak going, and 2) because I know the devs are constantly involved and trying to figure out the best formula for the game.

The way it's been for the last few days I end up running out of revives and have to put the game down after a few rounds. I don't know how with my roster I'm pitted against lvl 230 H.A.M.M.E.R. agents but I am.

Personally I think turning the every-color-power-up into a HP purchase was a good decision. All of the other changes I'm not happy about.

I might not like the way the game is going; I might stop playing one day because the devs decide to take it a different direction. It's their perogative. They own it afterall.

But it's still an AWESOME game. Match-3 with Marvel characters, special abilities, and power-ups?? Yes, please!

If you don't like it, go play Candy Crush. And take a lesson in monetizing online addiction from those guys.

  • This is your opinion we are entitled to ours. If you don't like it you can go play Candy Crush.
  • The problem is, the devs are treating us like a computer program, seeing how far they can push to maximize profits...Problem is, some of the players they ticked off with their boneheaded decisions won't be coming back, even if they revert back to the way it was..

I am fairly confident the "GLITCH" that ruined the last 2 tourneys for a majority of veterans was intended to work this way. They want to give easy wins to newbs to get them addicted so they spend more money...

IMO those conspiracy theories are simply ridiculous. I really can't see these changes as 'money-maximising' strategies. I doubt their revenue has increased in the last two weeks or so....Many of the changes made sence for the game itself even if they did screw over some players. The events themselves are just a mess up, don't read too much into it.

Exactly. New players aren't coming in to this game expecting to win these major events, so they're not turned off the game when they can't beat everything in the first week. By handing them these wins they've done more to discourage spending amongst new players. Why buy anything when you're already on top?

Yeah winning less as you progress seems a bit counter intuitive.
If you start someone out by them winning, they'll almost start to expect to win all the time and complain when they can't... wait...

hehe, when I started it took me two weeks to even notice the events tab icon_e_wink.gif

You don't need to log in every day to keep the reward streak going. If you take a break, it will pick up where you left off.
