    Slice 3 vet bracket is now at 858, leader is Mr Maestro at 27k, so the same bracket as slidecage reported about.

    I think it slowed down quite a bit, could be a while until it fills up.

    Any vet updates all around? There's a believed to be noob bracket in s5 that was at 81 about an hour ago

    What is a vet bracket? If you want to do well are you aiming to join one or avoid one?

    Another 4.5 hours later and we're now up to 926, Merrick Keys 1st at 34961 and KingNectuluh 2nd at 34936. So if this rate keeps up it could fill up in about the last hour... Could be some very lucky people in a new bracket if (if!) it fills.

    A vet(eran) bracket is where you end up if you consistantly do well in PVE, you don't really get a say in whethter you end up in one or if you get into a starter/noob bracket. If you get top 50 or higher (just my guess) for a couple of PVE tournaments in a row you will be placed in vet brackets until you skip (or finish really low in) a few tounaments. If you are not sure if you are in a starter bracket or a vet bracket you might want to check the rosters of the top players in your bracket. If they have mostly fully covered/maxed characters it's probably a vet bracket.

    If you want to do well most forumites on this thread want to join a new/fresh bracket because it would be a disadvantage to start a few thousand points behind. And because most people posting here have been playing for a while I think most of them can only post about vet brackets.

    Roster strength is a very poor indicator of bracket type, particularly in events that reward new covers as they attract otherwise dormant players.

    The only way to be reasonably sure you are in a vet bracket is to look at the PvE records of everyone in the bracket. While this information is not openly available, with time you can recognize some familiar names on the leaderboards. When you see more than a few regular PvE leaders in the top 10, that is usually a good indicator of a vet bracket.

    In order to really improve the accuracy of information in these bracket size threads, people would have to start posting their PvE records along with their bracket size updates, but that can be quite a hassle when we are already short on reports.

    Really appreciate these updates, I'm a slice 3 hopeful. I haven't gotten a 4* since Kingpin (managed 1 cover), and the last two 4* PvE's I was seeded 850th and tinykitty 990th ... I would love to actually earn one of the new 4* for once. HB burned the most, since I tried really hard and still couldn't manage to snag one. (Thanks to simulator and lucky drops I have him at 0/2/1, but I digress). Thing seems really nice to support Xforce and Fury who are my go-to 4*s.
