Ultron strategies

I remember Cap (both 2 and 3 versions) being an Ultron staple last go around because of his RED (at 5 covers) being able to overwrite ANY tile. What other strategies did you all use?

Doom's purple works very well, he has the HP to survive a bomb drop or 2. I also saw people stocking up red, putting fodder out to die and let patch 1 shot him0

I was going to start a thread on about the same thing regarding characters best used against Ultron (bomb drop) and since here is a thread on strategies, I think I will included here on some character suitable for it.
Below are the characters that most can destroyed specific target/area on board.
Hawkeye * (Classic)
Personally used him before on last Ultron events and both his attacks work well aginst Ultron.
(Too bad I have sold him and worse there is no cover for him in my Cover Rewards at this moment )
His create Critical tile which increase chance of matching bomb tiles to other tiles and his destroy a row that has bomb tiles in it.
Drawback is that his also increase other bomb tiles to reach the bottom by 1 row.
Yelena *
Her can caused enemy's special tiles to become critical tiles with damage.
Drawback: too expensive.
Captain Ameria ** and ***
Both his and blue can overwrite any tiles.
Drawback: countdown tile created, if unlucky to be at bottom few row, it will get destroyed by Ultron before it get resolved. As Ultron can't be stuned, his b lost part of its 'power'.
Bullseyes** and ***
* and ** His green destroyed basic tiles to increase chance of matching bomb tiles to other tiles.
I not sure if ** can selected bomb tiles but the selected other tiles can also increase chance of matching bomb tiles to other tiles.
Drawback: both attack too expensive.
Quicksilver
His can swap basic tiles to increase chance of matching bomb tiles to other tiles.
Drawback: maybe too expensive.
The Hood
His can target and 2 3x3 tiles.
Drawback: too expensive to use and unless ULtron make any matches/cascades when his bomb tiles get activated, there is no AP to steal from him.
She-Hulk
HEr can destroyed tiles from bottom row (good to target bomb tiles at 2nd last row) but unless you have the attack at 5 covers, otherwise need to depend on your luck that the row you destroyed will not cause the undestroyed at 2nd last row to hit bottom.
Magneto **
can destroy whole board and can detroy big chunk off board.
His red can used with Hood's so can activated same turn.
can create 4 blue tiles in a row to destroy the bomb tiles of that row column provided there are no bomb tiles or TU tiles in the way.
Drawback: and are expensive and countdown tiles may be detroyed by Ultron.
Invisible Woman
can lock selected tile included bomb tiles and can either stall till Ultron got KO or match the locked bomb tile twice to destroy it at later time. However this may effect you matching other tiles.
Bagman
His and may work but I not sure whether if they can specifically selected tiles and bomb tiles. If so, it is good to use but attack may be expensive.
I realize quite a lot of above attacks are not cheap and it may be more economical to just use the AP on a high damage single attack and just try to reduce Ultron HP to 0.0 -
so cap at 5 covers can overwrite bombs? didn't have red at 5 covers for the first run but I do now.0

Scarlet Witch can use her green as well, especially if you have it at 5. If you can wait until the bomb gets near the bottom, you can snipe at the edge a,d have a 5/6 chance of hitting.
I also used Grocket last time around. His green can be useful as a saving throw, but his real strength came from his blue. He could create matches with blue bombs, and occasionally managed to get the strike tiles out. Plus, his health and his heal let him tank all day.0 -
GSBW is slow, but Red can pop bombs, purple can create match 4's to take out bomb rows and sniper rifle, well, you know what that does.0

Use MNMags as a battery for Cap. At lower levels, use a true healer like Patch (or AWolverine since he's boosted) to absorb an early bomb or two while you get Cap set up.0

On Round 3, my team has been Patch, 3* Daken, Captain Marvel.
filling the board with strike tiles, and they heal themselves up nicely during (especially after a bomb)
I am sure after round 4, will need a less squishy team though.
I try to let Cpt Marvel take the bombs to generate red with energy absorption.0 -
My Big Bad Ultron team has been 2* Cap 3/5/5, 2* Mags 3/5/5, and Hood.
Mags purple can make a blue line (and some random red, too), when the board is willing. Cap's blue and red overwrite bombs at 5 covers, and if you place the CD tile early, you get most of it back. Hood's yellow takes forever to happen, but can be a lifesaver, and his black can help shorten timers on Cap or Mags CD tiles.
Squishy as heck, but if you are taking bombs to the face you won't last long against him.
Against the waves, I couldn't believe how effective LOKI is. That is one tricky little guy. I'm primarily using EssentialCharacter/Panther/Patch/Lthor with Cage and Loki.0
