When I joined Slice 3 yesterday, I entered at 894 but after a few clears yesterday and today I am rank 23 with no Professor X. I'm a T150 player so either the scaling is causing players to quit or they are leaving scores low for yellow Patch. It seems Carnage will be very obtainable this PVE.

I hope so as I got stung by the curse of the two brackets. A friend joined a new one with less than 100 people a couple hours ago (shard 4), I joined in a different one with about 400 players. Both vet brackets. The leader on mine has 17k score, one clear is 4330.

I know there have been many cases like this where multiple veteran or newbie brackets running seem to be at the same time, but in the five months that I have been reading these bracket size threads, I have never seen a single instance of multiple brackets being confirmed with any evidence (e.g. screenshots of top 10 showing other players who can be confirmed as qualifying veterans), or even corroborated by anyone with a known vet/newb status. My opinion is that people just can't tell if they're in a veteran or newbie bracket reliably, but no one deserves blame because there is no clear indication of the bracket type in game.

We can all help avoid problems with multiple brackets by including in our bracket size reports the reasons we think we are in a veteran or newbie bracket. Even a short note like "I've been top 50 for the last 5 events" would go a long way to help people determine what bracket type your are in.

850 now yea if you was looking at slice 2 you might as well say your going to have one day to play ..

with progression being so low its doable as well with just a one nod slice (and remember the 3 stage pts always give the most so blah

The last pve I played was The Gauntlet and Starfall is the second pvp I play this season (I played one a couple of weeks back for the 300 event token). Still, I doubt a break of 2-3 weeks is enough to drop someone from a vet to a noob bracket. When I join, I will post here to let you know, if you are interested in statistics.
My roster though is that of a vet. 222 XF, 5x maxed 3* and several more close to 150.

I'm usually in a vet bracket, although I have been taking it easy the last few and joining late starting bracket. I've still met the progression rewards and finished top 20-50, so maybe I still am in a vet. All but 2 (94s) of the top 10 are 3* transitioners.

Originally thought I'd try to play for Carnage but didn't feel like it so I'm just going to aim for Patch which is much more useful than another useless 4* that takes up another roster spot.

Thanks for the update! Just entered slice 5 at 20th place.

Pretty sure this is the vet bracket too. Even though I have been joining events late, I've placed within rank 30 in every PvE for the last month (except Gauntlet).
