Devs, your "funbalance" is only fun for you

Face it, there are innumerable complaints about nerfed characters, boost costs, unbalanced boards (always in favor of the opponents), and stupid powers, especially in new characters.

Daredevil sucks, his "traps" are never anywhere close to matching tiles for the enemy. Also, I noticed that when fighting against wolvie, his strike tile disarmed the trap. Why the hell should that take precedence when there were several other red tiles on the board. The only excuse given is "it just works that way". So much for fair or balanced.

Speaking of "it just works that way"...

Wolverine (Patch) creates strike tiles for BOTH sides. WHY?!? Would you go up to an opponent who already has their own weapons and say "Here, have some more weapons to use against me"? That is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen! If Patch goes against Astonishing, Astonishing will create strike tiles on his own, but not for you. After a few turns, he has 12 strike tiles and you only have 3. A simple match, and your team is wiped out. Not to mention that the unbalanced boards will have all your strike tiles stacked together, while theirs are spread out everywhere and you may be lucky enough to eliminate one of theirs while they take all of your in one match.

These are just two of the most recent examples, but there are tons of threads for all the other character issues. One of the simplest things you can do is to remove your latest updates, un-nerf the recently nerfed characters, and get rid of anything that GIVES any kind of help to the opposing team. Leveling needs to go away too. I used to be able to play a dozen or so games in a row with my limited characters. Now, I might get as many as three games before I am completely depleted. Since I'm not the first to mention this, maybe you should start paying attention and do something about it before you lose your entire fan base and end up shelving the game altogether.

One good rule of making money: You can make more money slowly than you can by instant gratification. One person may spend $100 today, and give up when they're faced with doing it again, so you only gain that $100. 100 people may spend $20 over a short period of time, netting $2000. And they will spend it again... And again... And again. It just has to be worth it. And currently, it is not.

    +1

If devs didin't lock so many characters daredevil could be a good support, but with his powers are not working right and incredibly powerful enemies in heroic pve makes him useless.... In his first event... Which should give people an incentive to buy daredevil, but everything tells us otherwise.
  • PvP is a joke

Fight for 19, lose 38. Do the math! Unattainable rewards and grinding to get nowhere is not fun. The game used to be fun, but now it's as maddening as your customer service.
  • Not fun, nor balance in fact...

    This.
  • Not saying your wrong about anything else, but patch is awesome. I think you're just way to used to the click green to win on 2* wolvie.

Those six strike tiles are super powerful, so they need to be balanced. I use patch in my main team. The secret is to line up a pink started cascade. You drop the green after you've saved up enough ap to let off a few abilities at once. Punishers black is great because its cheap and aoe. Then you get multiple thousands of damage on turn one , set if your cscade and remove those pink strikes. It takes planning and you need to deny tiles for a while, but trust me, it the nest finisher in the game.
  • I agree not having any fun anymore.

    This.

Yup. I used to play a lot. I was able to collect ISO to level up my characters at what I thought was a decent rate. Now, after the changes, I'm not able to make any progress. I have to use Iso to buy boosts just to have a chance at completing a mission. But even if I'm able to complete the mission, my characters are all beat up and the Iso payout isn't enough to keep playing. I'm on a budget and can't afford to sink a bunch of money into this. Thank goodness there are still plenty of free games out there that we can play to pass the time while the devs work on this. The old Puzzle Quest, Challenge of the Warlords for instance. That game is still amazing! Who doesn't have PQ-CotW on one platform or another? And it doesn't cost anything to play over and over, which happens to be more entertaining than MPQ at the moment.
