Fair solution to the crashing

Given that anyone with an adroid has now a huge advantage over anyone with ios, could the fairest solition be to pause the PvE and PvP events entirely?
I cannot compete, and am watching the Season pass by with little to show for it, with my alliance score in PvP being awful.
There's no way I can play, and those not using ios can have a free time of it.
Until the crash bug is fixed, why not just press pause, and offer lightning rounds etc until the game is sorted?

I believe the 77.1 patch for iOS already went out on their app store.
