Can you use the same account on both Apple and Android

I have an Ipod touch and a Samsung Galaxy S5. Can I play the same account on both devices? If so how do I connect the two? I started on my Ipod and now want to move it over to my phone but when I went to the options it would only connect to goggle not Facebook.

    I had the option of both Facebook and Google on my Android device and I use the same account on both Android and iOS. Are you logged in to Facebook under the Accounts section of your Android device's Settings? That may be required for it to work.
