Despite my promises of staying away from this travestry I find myself still logging in every now and then, maybe doing couple of those fairly easy first missions in that botched Heroic PvE just to earn mission rewards and maybe score a progression reward. I also grind SHIELD training and Prologue missions for the last ISO rewards I previously missed. I am going to give the devs one last shot next following weeks to rectify this all, but I'm not going to spend a dime nor nickel anymore unless things turn out to be better. On that decision I'm adamant(ium).

At this point all I am doing is getting my daily supply pack. Events are unplayable . Glad I was directed to Hearthstone it is a nice replacement.

Reason he isn't banned yet is because devs are off for the weekend and haven't seen his blatant posts about cheating. I almost guarantee he is gone Monday. As for the Dev's not caring about the game I feel that is undeserved criticism. They do seem to be trying to change things for the better, I'm just not sure they know how. I also don't think most people complaining know how either. As soon as they nerfed Thor and Wolverine people started to whine about even though before the nerf everyone complained about how OP they were. They had horrible communication over Rag nerf they had a lot better communication about the changes to Thor and Wolverine.

That being said I am not doing anything in MPQ(besides logging in doing a quick fight for daily reward) because the devs screwed the pooch on scaling and will need to do some serious work on it when they get back to work next week or they have lost me as a customer for a while.

You are making huge generalizations absent of fact. Most folks that I have seen on this board **** about things are anti-character nerf which would mean they are not the same folks.

You are picking the one thing that was partially an exaggeration and trying make it sound like all my points were null and void. The fact is when I read the forums before the nerfs, starting with rag, people were complaining that characters were OP. No it wasn't everyone you got me there but it is probably about the same amount of people complaining post nerf. I am not happy about the nerf either I loved my pre-nerf wolverine. I do think they went about it the wrong way though. I would have rather seen other characters boosted to level of wolverine, thor, and rag. Since that might have helped with the current situation of everything is scaled way to high to have a chance and still would have had the effect of balancing pvp.

Hmmn that is strange I thought I picked the point where you generalizing and quoted it. You can't imply they are the same people when it isn't the case. The same amount of people and the same people are two very different things
  • Today I played my first game in the last 2 days (Oscorp Heroic Mode 2nd mission). Once it ended, I closed the app and I will most likely check back in 1-2 days. For me, it isn't worth putting even 5 minutes in the game at its current state. So I opened Hearthstone for some quick and fun matches and next I will try to finish the Banner Saga. I also consider purchasing Rust from Steam which seems a fun game to play despite being in early access.

I think what I'll be doing with MPQ now is logging in for a match each evening until the next PvE event, and making the play-or-shelf decision then. icon_neutral.gif

Not (quite) sliding into regretting spending money on it - since with something intangible as online gaming the money is for 'the experience' and it was a fun experience - but the wallet is closed now until MPQ has shown 1. the game can be fun again 2. some meaningful level of progression can be made without spending money.

Okay I never said same people, you did, I said everyone which like I said was an exaggeration. Saying something was absent of fact and then claiming I said something that I didn't say seems a bit backwards. I will admit I shouldn't have used the wording I did. You did quote the whole post though so unless you feel my entire post was a generalization maybe you give me a break on the one word I shouldn't have used. If not no big deal, it still makes me feel better that I can admit my mistakes.

Speaking as a sucker, I spend $150 dollars on this game already. In my mind it was justified because this game is pretty good and with updates all the time, I gotta help support those developers because it's a free game. But more and more i'm finding out that maybe this game was free for a reason. Perhaps it's just something that got shelved back in the day because it didn't quite work and only got published now because the company had nothing else in mind.

As a paying customer I'm depressed that i got suckered in to support this game which got very bad very fast. Even worse than Diablo 3 did. I didn't even spend $150 on diablo 3.

Diablo 3 on Xbox was pretty fun. I have no opinion on pc version as I never played it. Auction house wasn't a very good idea in retrospect...at least with the way they implemented it. Spending money @ auctionhouse? Yea, that equals sucker.

Maybe it was the wording. I wasn't talking about the whole post so I guess I could have been clearer as well. I'm a grumpy baaastard when I wake up, so my apologies if that wasn't your intent icon_razz.gif

Lol, all is forgiven. I am equally grumpy when I am tired, like I am now but mine is because I need to go to sleep not just woke up. So I probably blew what you said a bit out of proportion. I noticed we are both only playing currently for daily rewards so good luck with what you pull. Let's just hope they fix some stuff so we could actually enjoy playing the game again.

It is a shame that the only playing we are doing if for the rewards definitely hope they fix things.
  • So I hope the development really read this post. We are hovering around 50 messages of people who are looking for something to do.
I personally think that the dev realize that they messed up. They do need the plan to run its course before determining if it worked or not though.

Ideally this won't destroy the game and they'll re modify it to a better experience.
    As for the nerf hammer...
Thor and wolverine were needed very well. Both are still strong. But they are a) 2 * and b) an introduction to 2*. Thor is still better than a 3* rag.
Rag was overpowering bc he got a weekly tournament to dominate. His nerf was a bit harsh.
C mag is about to get the same.
Spider Man being able to stun a Full team for 2+ turns and them potentially another 3 with 6 blues IS overpowering. He deserves a nerf too.
The dev should really realize that the old system of pve was better. You want lowbies to be able to compete? Let them, but this isn't the answer. I don't know about your PVE tournament, but in mine 1st place 1/2 way through is at 4k lmao. Good luck with 54k
What's worse than people complaining is no people playing.

Wolvie is still playable Thor is not unless you like losing.
  • Think about it.
    Patch Thor hulk
    Beserk rage
    Thunder strike(possible beserk again)
    Any hulk move
  • You know what would really get me in the game? Lowering all prices by 70%. Then i wouldn't even think twice to get iso AND gold to upgrade my covers. 60 dollars vs 200. And we're talking about paying for a broken game here.
