Gauntlet Ultron Prime battle

I must say this is the most frustrating battle I've faced to date. Besides She-Hulk and Loki stealing all of your AP, Ultron's 12,500 HP draining bombs will one shot most characters. This is the last battle I have left and it seems time may run out before I can take this trio out. Closest I came was 3,500 hp left on Ultron before ultimately eating a bomb. Is anyone else struggling as much as I am on this one? Suggestions on tactics / team ups / etc?

Let me know your squad and I will try to help.

My Ultron was level 305 or so and I won with Invisible Woman (fully covered 5/5/3 but level 71), Iron Fist (3/5/4, Level 153) and XForce (5/5/3, Level 221).

I boosted All AP, Blue / Purple AP and Black / Green AP, collected 6 Purple then used Fist Purple twice which I then used to Surgical Strike Loki out of the fight in one hit. I then matched the bombs as they fell and hit Ultron whenever possible, which stopped the bombs, and then took out She-Hulk. I had a very lucky board!

Depending on your covers for IW you can partially lock out the bombs as they fall

Assuming you don't have Whales! available, try Mystique/GSBW with boosted B/P and G/B. Myst is doing 10K dmg with black after shapeshifting, GSWB can use purple to deal with bombs, then sniper to destroy board. Target Loki first, then SHulk.

I have 56 covers but most are around level 100. It seems I'm a bit outmatched on this on. Sad to fight through the whole event just to stall on the final match. Hats off to the developers for finally designing a match that makes me want to throw my phone. LoL

I got the closest with level 144 pro X 5,3,1 / Invisible Woman level 94 1,2,1 and GSBW level 127 5,3,3 I got a good board that round to capitalize on pro X's blue ability, but since then I can't seem to get a good board to start with. My mystique is level 115 3,4,5 but she hulk's furious charge keeps killing my AP.

I also had to seek help from the forum, which steered me toward a team of IW, three star Cap and modern Magneto. I was able to beat them with this crew, with a boost all, boost pink/blue and boost red/yellow.

I concentrated on collecting pink and taking down Loki first. The pink fed the blue and red that Cap needed and that was pretty much it.

+1 to this. I got through on my third try. Focus on collecting red (blue/purple secondary), down Loki, and then stun She Hulk while waiting for your red shields to come back.

Finally beat it with GSBW, Professor X and Invisible Woman with +2 all colors, and +2 green / black and +2 blue / purple. Had a good board this time (started with two 5 matches). Thanks for the help
