'Quicksilver needed' for daily quest

Just logged to play the daily quests which reward a quicksilver card, and got an error telling me that 'quicksilver is needed'.
The thing is, I do own that hero card, so not sure why it's not picking him up...

I have the same problem. Got QS, but cant play the mission.

Select him manually from your roster and it should work. The auto-select of required characters is semi-broken as of the last patch - seems to be related to whether you've used that character in a non-essential fight since updating.
