Looking For Iron Fist - Will Travel

Just a quick one - is Iron Fist out of rotation? I was unlucky enough to miss out on his initial offering however long ago it was and ever since, I've noticed he hasn't been an award in PVP or PVE challenges for quite some time.

I've seen him show up twice so far in DDC but for those that don't own him already, its a massive bummer..

Is there a reason the beast from the east is being overlooked?

    thought i heard somewhere that they no longer have character rotations. all are available all the time now.

    but I think you're right - I don't recall another event for him since his introduction ~2 months ago. whatever the event is, it would be highly competitive since he's so highly regarded. its been a while for others too: Cyclops, hulk? (we had the hulk event but don't remember a hulk ranking reward in a while), hood, magneto, cage, spidey, patch!... would really like some events we cared about and could put half season together with relevant characters that we haven't seen in a while. all those listed have high end uses except gamora. last season's characters sucked so bad...

    note: those were from off the top of my head - may have missed one or included one with an event I forgot about.

    There are sometimes long gaps between offerings of characters, but I had noticed that other than their initial PVE and PVP (in Kamala's case, both PVPs - they repeated it because of their shift from MMR,) we haven't had a PVP for any of the newer characters - everyone since Kamala Khan (KK, Iron Fist, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Bulseye, though the last is of course really recent.)

    I believe the reason is they are going through all the characters who were vaulted. Still, it would be nice to get another stab at the above.

    I understand the vaulted characters, but we've had 2 doc ock recently. 2 blades (not complaining there). why not rotate everyone through (including top tier, which they seem to skip over a LOT). when was the last hood event? I don't remember honestly.

    Seems to me like they take the top 10 characters and avoid running them as rewards. Gotta sell those tokens & covers!

    IF, Cage, Cyc, Kamala, etc.

    I would have to agree with this. The only reason I have Cage, Cyc, KKahn maxed is because I broke down and bought a cover for them. My IF is only at 2/2/5 and I refuse to buy that many covers for a character but I really want to max him to pair with Hulkbuster. I'll just keep crossing my fingers for some IF rewards I guess...

    Kamala was literally just offered for Sentry. Cyc was fairly recent too, which in this case means in the last month or so (but think that was PvE reward).

    Accounting for 4* releases (which seem to be once a season now), you only have 11 rewards every 28 days, and there's 40 3* characters. So you're looking at every 4 months with a perfect rotation in PvP. Since it's anything but perfect, the layoffs can get quite long.

    So here we go again. Iron Fist is again the reward for DDQ. Seriously, can the team please account for why he hasn't been a reward in PVP / PVE since his initial offering?

    NorthernPolarity called him the "king of the 3*'s" - and that still pretty much stands. They need to sell as many covers as they can of this best 3* - so they can't be handing them out, can they? icon_lol.gif

    This morning was my 13th at long last, had been waiting for this DDQ date. Immediately put to 166 and started running the current PVP with him, will put him out on my sim team later today. Which means of course the (second) nerf is coming....
