Reporting Cheaters

Hey All,

By now, I am sure many of you have had the opportunity to make use of (and hopefully enjoy) the ability to look at the current rosters for your fellow community members in-game. In addition to being a feature we hope improves the overall experience for players, it can also be a tool in the ongoing war with cheaters.

If you spot someone on the leaderboards that you suspect may be cheating please feel free to contact us with your concerns. 1. First of all, where is this "in-game reporting feature"???

2. Second, I've checked the top 10 for Heroic Mode (Oscorp) and I've already seen 2 players on top 10 that don't have the required characters to even play in the tournament. Roadkill79 and Hiresh.
Required Characters:
  • Daredevil
  • Black Widow (Modern & Grey Suit)
  • Iron Man (Model 35)
  • Wolverine (Astonishing X-Men)
  • Storm (Classic)
  • Hawkeye (Modern)
  • Spider-Man (Classic)
  • Invisible Woman

I took screenshots of their roster and the top 10. You can see they are at #6 and #8 at the time of the screenshot being taken. I put it in my google drive folder.

So please, prove me wrong, did I miss something? Unless these guys played till they got top 10 and then deleted one of the required characters I see no way for them to even participate in the tournament, as both of them only have 2 characters they can use. Iron Man + Daredevil for Hiresh and Iron Man + Black Widow (Modern) for Roadkill79.

I did a report through the link given by the original post for Roadkill79 and then found noticed Hiresh.

    Its like in my tier. The top two have over 2k in point but no maxed out cards just 30 max.
    Its doing my head in like big time.

    Lol, that papabear87 is legit "fo sho", I will begin suspecting anyone using numbers in their names xD (even if it seems like a year of birth).

    Is there any avenue to report suspicious players? Or does developers has a way to check out players if they cheat?
    In my thor bracket the following players are very suspicious.
    Ck62 - multiple lvl 85 and over 100 heroes.
    Tva - some lvl 85 heroes but he got a lvl 141 dare devil. I thought the most we get is 3 as of now?

    I want no longer be called cheaters. The biggest cheater is the games mechanics. The event should be for advanced players, but are they are newcomers advanced? The whole game has become a big joke

    Yes, you missed that the lvl scaling is broken and some people get lvl 10 to 40 enemies while others (like me) get lvl 230 guys...

    He either spent just some minutes installing and using a cheat program or hundreds of dollars to buy Iso and HP.
    Decide for yourself which is more likely with someone like Crossheart...

    Are you one of the devs trolling? No acceptable amount of money can give a player that much ISO & HP.
    Or you're boasting that you cheat cuz you know devs don't punish cheaters....

    Yeah i think the pc version is easier to cheat since i guess all you need to do is edit your save file and upload it to facebook. I'm not sure why it's hard to do the same for cellphones. Maybe cellphones don't have a hex editor or something.

    lol ****! These devs really need to work on killing the cheaters before they keep nerfing and **** up our pve events! I mean, the game can't even be played off line, how hard is it to have checks for abnormal jumps in HP and iso? Weird level jumps like this, it shouldn't be that hard! Instant ban the second it detects it. delete the the save and move on.

    These screenshots mean nothing -- it's expected the client to be hackable in whatever ways. The interesting thing is whether the server accepts any transaction from such hacked client.

    I actually thought the server controlled the profiles. Not sure why; something I assumed I suppose from previous release notes stating that more of the logic was handled server-side.

    I suppose it's not too difficult to implement. Definitely don't want to go up against that guy...
