I made it through the entire sub in one run without downs with Storm, Mags, and Cap. All boosted, all 2*.
Weirdly, Juggs and Venom used their skills maybe 8 times between them because of the mobs using their own powers.0 -

Gotta love the randomness. Same crew, made it through 3 nodes in multiple attempts with all heroes down multiple times, both Juggs and Venom endlessly spamming attacks... it's no wonder there's so much frustration and disbelief directed from player to player... no one is playing the same game.

dang. how did I miss grey suit? anyway, I made the clear but wiped once each on the last 2 nodes. for my last swing at the last node, needed to wait 10 min for a health pk. won't be grinding those any - may not do them again depending on what scaling does. I really hate heroics, especially when you have no ap controller (obw/hood/loki/etc). but I need panther yellow, so here I am...0

Seriously guys, what is the point of limiting the roster so severely? People have spent months building up a wide roster and you won't let them use it? I'm not generally one for this sort of complaint but it's like you're actively trying to sabotage/piss off the players. Have you forgotten that we play games to have fun?0

That's how all of the "Heroic" events work. They're hard versions of the prologue missions with a limited roster. It sucks, but it is what it is. I don't think anyone likes these events.0 -

I actually don't mind the roster limitation. It was a lot worse when you only had 3 3*, 3 2*, and 2 1* for the entire event. The roster limitations can make you try new combinations that you might not have thought to try otherwise.0 -

I mean, In this case having mags and storm together and boosted is a pretty good team whoever you add in there third. But it does start to seem like they are actively looking for ways to make it impossible to play the game much without paying money. Between the timing of the event scoring and limiting your roster so you have to use health packs every time you don't mop the floor with the enemy... I have never seen a game that tries so hard to make sure you won't play it when you have the time to.0 -
So if the pattern holds, who is the required 2* for the next PVE? Bullseye, right?0

Heroic events have been around for as long as I can remember (440 days). There's no conspiracy theory here. These events are just plain tough, sometimes they're tougher than others because of the characters that got picked.
I happen to have 8 of the featured characters and 2 of the known reinforcements so far (GSBW, Kamala). Even though I burn through health packs on the harder nodes, I've yet to feel compelled to purchase anything. Be thankful the rewards this time are mediocre (Iron Man 40) and wait for the next event to start.0 -
The rewards for this event suck, and the nodes on the main quest remain awful, but I want to give D3 credit for sub events that actual have new story and different enemies as opposed to us just fighting boosted jugs 20 times.0

Teams I used in the first sub:
For 3 trivial nodes: 150 MNmags, 85 1* storm, lvl 44 5/5/0 bullseye.
For other nodes, depending on health (may also include the nodes from the main):
240 Lcap, 234 BP, 218 GSBW
200 DP, 190 Spidey, 169 Quicksilver
150 MNMags, 150 Cstorm, 190 Spidey
Starlord, 240 LCap, 240 HT
232 HB, 200 DP, 150 MNMags
If you do not have a large number of the characters, then it can be a little more difficult to spread the love around, but you should also have easier scaling in theory.0 -

Usually the essentials for the next PVE are the rewards from the previous.
So Fury, IM40 and 2* Human Torch.0 -

it's one thing to strategically limit our roster, it's another to say "LOOK AT THESE COVER PACKS! THESE ARE YOUR CHARACTERS!!!!!"0 -

Just finished Juggernaut Heroic on my stream(@ 31 mins most recent video), should be availible as VOD if anyone wants to see the lay of the land. Got my Hulkbuster killed(whoops!) So will attempt the essential requiring him later
So Hulkbuster(even at 1/1/1) 2*Mag/3*Cap is an interesting team to say the least, lol.

It just won't stop. Add in the stuns, the fact that Cap is too slow to get started to do much, and Ock's 1.5K group attack...
