OK, So How the TinyKitty to Beat Ninjas in DDQ with ** Team

Well, it had been fun. I could survive the DDQ Big Enchilada with my ** Team for the past several days (Thor/OBR/Daken) but was wiped out in the first round with the tinykitty ninjas today. Any thoughts or is it hopeless? Are there any ** that can help with the broken "Up in Smoke"?

Should add, it doesn't have to be Thor/OBR/Daken. But it does have to be a ** team. That's all I can max right now. But could be any of the ** and the help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help!

  • My team is **Thor, **Black Widow and **Wolvie. I don't even remember last time I lost. Sometimes I boost blue for BW but that's all.

Thanks. I'll have to sub Wolvie for Daken. I just can't seem to handle the whole "Up in Smoke" tiles that don't seem to go away. Appreciate the advice.

put together a small guide on how to make sure they don't get too much attack tiles on the board. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=30273

Wow! Thanks so much. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. Really screwing up getting that IF Black. I will give this a shot, though. Appreciate the help!

I use the same team as you do Thor, OBW, and Daken and ninjas are tough especially with a muscle maggia. The key is to get enough blue and purple for OBW to use her blue power to push countdown tiles back up and to temp heal wounds while using her purple to steal AP to suck blue from the enemy and other colors. The toughest imo is when it is all ninjas that produce only red as it makes her steal much less valuable. Making sure you use good team ups for it can be crucial too. Deadpools purple whale drop is useful (especially if you have his DPP maxed out) as is other AoE abilities. Here are a couple of things that I do when I face ninjas:

1.) I play through one time and hope I get favorable boards

If I lose I heal and then:
2.) Consider using boosts like 3 of the +20% to all damage (this allows you to kill ninjas fast but you may not be able to accumulate enough AP to face characters, normally you use the minion rounds to power Thor's green and yellow which allows you to trounce the enemy characters early on killing at least 2 of the 3, however the bonus to damage should still allow you to beat the characters but it certainly changes the dynamic of the Enchilada)
3.) Use boosts to initial AP points in colors I need (especially blue/purple)
4.) Sometimes you have to use Thor's powers to wipe out ninjas and goons if it is imperative to prevent countdown tiles from going off. Usually you prefer not to do this but with OBW steal and Thor's self ramping, you can gain that AP back pretty fast you just may have to take some lumps from the rival characters for the first few rounds
5.) Make sure when a damage dealer tiles go off, have Daken take the damage if possible as he can heal pretty fast over a few rounds - keep an eye at the tile timers and when you see the tile down to one, try to make a Daken match if you don't think you have any way of stopping it. I always try to leave a black match opportunity on the board for this reason since my characters don't utilize black AP
6.) Target the enemy attack tiles ASAP once they enter the board, even if there is other better AP matches for you to consider as wiping them out as quickly as possible save so many hitpoints over the course
7.) If you are low in hps try to use OBW healing during rounds vs. enemy characters as they usually don't have tiles so you get the full healing as opposed to the reduced healing when goons have tiles out

Hope this helps. I sometimes lose that first time but I always win the second time through with boosts. Sometimes I will lose a character or two at the end and the team ups have won me the Enchilada multiple times during that last round.

use storm, mags and thor all 2* makes it really easy to win. You farm ap on the goons and just stun the char.

this is a little simplistic, but this is the team I use and with the 4 board shaking abilities you use here (thor yellow, mags purple and red, and storm green), I've found that as long as my ap is in good shape by the time I kill them (usually means waiting a little to kill them), I can shake shake shake and get the attack tiles down to a reasonable number.

Alternately, you can look at OBW for the health buffer, Captain America (Modern) for the ability to overwrite countdowns, and then somebody else to provide board shake, which probably means either Captain Marvel or Storm. (Carol's yellow shouldn't be discounted, as it can turn ANY tile to a team-up.)
  • 1* Storm + 2*Cap + 2*OBW can usually do it, but takes some skill in matching.
I've also done it with 1*Juggs + 2*Cap + 2* OBW, but gaining the AP from green helps more, as well as having black to clog tiles.
