    I was wondering about that. I'm glad it wasn't rewarded in the weird off-season events, but it's a bit strange it isn't the reward for the first PVP.

    Although with the grind of boosted Spidey/Falcon/(actual damage dealer): I won't mind Bullseye being rewarded in the Marvel PVP. Perhaps that's part of the plan - trying to get people to invest in 3*'s that have a lower average level across the user base? I do see more high level Storms these days, with how often she's been offered and boosted.

    Why does the loaner keep changing which ability it has?? I have no yellow on my Falcon, so picked the loaner to use it.. just to find out it was using purple..

    next match loaner had yellow

    match after that, it had blue..

    what gives?

    I think it depends on which node it is. For me, Top is yellowflag.png Left is blueflag.png and Right is purpleflag.png
    I haven't completed any of the seed teams, so I can't tell if the order shuffles, but I doubt it would.
    I'd be ok if it stays like this. Gives you a chance to see all the character animations without having to wait for those covers to drop.

    I noticed the difference too - gotta ask a noobish question. how can I move falcon off of center? never have learned how that happens.

    I did play one of the longest matches I've played today at lunch. my torch went down (could not get red to save my life) and I had underleveled/undercovered cmags and falcon against his falcon. protect tiles all over the place. ugh. any hopping on this one will require some quick hitters or loki to flip. luckily I don't care enough to mess with shields. this one will be frustrating for those who don't pay attention.

    not always. some teams that I play have the featured off center. and malcrof mentioned that doing so with a loaner changed which ability the loaner got. I'm pretty sure it is done but just don't know how.

    That's just a display issue. The other team's lead sometimes is shown on the left. You can't change where the featured character goes.

    you can't move the loaner. you get a different ability based on the node.

    Top gets ability one
    Left gets ability two
    Right gets ability three

    The center position in the lineup is the left position on the node select I think. You don't have to doubt that Falcon is always in the 'center' position in his featured event.

    I'm running Falcon/Daken/HT. A disaster waiting to happen when computer takes over on defense, but has enough offense to blow any team out.

    This event started out very well. The higher point matches really do make the early climb must more enjoyable.

    I had what might have been my easiest ever climb to 900. In the course of a just a few hours I went from 0 to 920 without shielding at all.

    Then I made a hop to a heartbreaking 999. While I was trying to load up the leader board before shield, I was knocked back down to 950 or so, and there's where things started going bad. Since my 3-hour shield was on cooldown, I had to wait until the morning to try again. and more people play in the morning, so the risk was much higher.

    I then made 4 separate attempts to hop to 1k. each time I spend hundreds of iso lining up a single match with enough points to put me to 1k (and I went with people i could see in the leaderboards or was otherwise certain would actually have the points I needed).

    On the first 3 attempts, I won the matches handily, but was hit before I could finish. Usually because the end of these falcon matches are very tedious redwing v. redwing battles while trying to build up enough ap for a nuke to punch through all falcon's defensive tiles.

    On the 4th attempt, I faced deadpool and xforce. The ai promptly got a match-4 red cascade into a couple of quick black matches. And the board didn't give me the matches I needed to sacrifice falcon and preserve my damage dealers. So I got "a little off the top"d and surgical strike'd to death in no time. (on the bright side, I didn't get hit during this loss yay?)

    Now all my shields are on cooldown and the event is ending in a few hours. I can try to line up one or two matches before the end, but i basically have no hope. If it weren't for the **** stupid cooldowns, I could have just hopped again earlier on in the event and been done with things. Instead I had to wait until the risks here higher and then got really unlucky. It's not like starlord is a particularly great character, so this isn't the end of the world. But what about this experience is supposed to be fun?

    Seconded! I got a kick out of running his yellow with Daken, his purple with anyone (well, except Blade), and his blue against someone like Cap. I hope this change stays.
