We just can't win

So now we're losing points for losses. Ok I'll just be more selective about my battles and skip more. Oh wait, now we're being charged to skip. And rewards for each battle are so low you're lucky if you break even. And after you win twice in a row very few fights are worth the time due to the magic of rubberbanding. And boosts cost hp so the occasional fight over 20 points isnt worth it either. How are we supposed to work with this Pvp?

  • "We just can't win" thats what the devs should be saying not you, the amount of people who complain about every aspect of the game is unbeliveable, then when the devs change it to something that has been requested a different set of people complain, no game is ever going to be perfect, obviously there are issues with the matchmaking and rubberbanding but people seem to complain about every aspect. "Rags needs nerfing" "why have they nerfed rag?" People have asked for these aspects in the game so the devs put it in then less than a week later people are complaining after 1 tournament.
  • It's because Devs are listening to the wrong people. And the Devs can't balance the game for sh*t. They made a kick **** game, but has NO idea on balancing the game. If they want to do big changes and nerfs, they should not be offering micro-transactions and stealing peoples' money. Then nobody has the right to complain. It'd just be a "free-to-play" game. But since the Devs so kindly took hundreds of dollars from each individual players (not every player spent hundreds obviously but many have spent hundreds), they're gonna get what's coming to them. FIX THE GAME DAMN IT.

Honestly, Rag did need a nerf though. 2AP for Thunderclap? Pfft.. that's just not right. Same goes for 2AP stun on Spidey. Personally, I think 2AP anything is too low. People who complained about the nerf most likely invested a good amount of money to level their Rag up. In which case, the Devs should be compensating those players affected by the nerf. Same goes for Wolverine, Thor, and any other character that took a hard hit or has had major changes.
I'm sure Devs have record of every transaction. If a player contacts Devs after spending money on certain character, Devs should verify the money spent and refund whatever is fair back to the player by either ISO-8 plus HP and/or letting players reset and rebuild the character from scratch. Devs shouldn't be taking players' money so damn lightly. I don't know how hard Devs work to earn their money, but I work hard to earn mine. It sickens me that I've already spent over $100 on this game. I wish I can just get a full refund and quit the game. *sigh*

Maybe I should have just bought Xbox One and play a REAL game like Forza 5.. At least they don't take back and change sh*t on me after I spend money on it.

Lately I've been feeling this way too. Personally I've spent around 150 dollars so far but now I regret it. Past two weeks something has gone horribly wrong with this game. Nerfs done in the middle of tournaments, PvP experience changed from bad to worse, PvE mucked up also. I dunno. Maybe I should thank the devs since they are doing what I couldn't: gradually alienating me from MPQ altogether. I don't feel the enthusiasm to grab my iPad and grind some ISO anymore. All the tourneys are either broken or are restricted to characters that I don't have.

You know what? I'm gonna take a break from this "game". I'll probably lurk at the forums and see if any progress is made but at the moment any of the "improvements" made don't encourage me to spend a dime. I don't feel my roster progressing, I don't have fun doing the battles. What's the point to continue if the game is not fun anymore?

I was addicted to this game as well, I was hiding how much I was spending on this damn game from my wife because it was gradually going up. Paying extra fees to purchase pre-paid Visas with cash when I have perfectly working credit/debit cards.. haha. I'm glad I stopped at $115. I would have spent a lot more if this hadn't happened. I was planning on buying another $100 pre-paid right before the patch. *phew*
Man, I feel so bad for people who spent hundreds already...
  • They should start listening to the majority. The majority used Thor or wolvie and didn't want them nerfed. Nobody wants to pay for skips. They seem to be hearing one guy make a dumb suggestion and using that.
  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who spent a ridiculous amont of cash on this game. I stopped playing it after the Thorverine nerf, but until then I'd invested about $150. I'm still cruising the forum, though, waiting to see whether the devs are going to fix it. It's a damn shame. My wife, who's more patient than I am, is still playing it, but we're no longer buying anything at all.
