Hmmm...I don't use Deadpool a lot outside of a daily mission to collect DP points. The "Compatible Characters" thread in the Tips section suggests XF (who I don't have very well covered) or Sentry + Punisher (who is covered but not optimally).

I know Sentry is boosted for this event, so that's certainly appealing, but he also tends to donk up my team. Love him for Defense, but for the climb I'm not sure who a good/fast rainbow comp would be.

Luke Cage + Daken seemed like a decent option, but that leaves Green and Purple without Actives, (I'm not dropping Whales in PVP when I have stocked up DP points).

Thoughts?

You do know you can drop Whales without spending Deadpool points, right?

I actually did not. It looked like if you had the threshold to spend, that was your only option. I'll take him into a fight and check it out.

love dropping whales. never used pts yet. might on this simulator thing though. how much does it help? on second thought, nah. gotta be for something that's worth it. still, how much does it do? I only have 2 covers on dp purple at lvl 89 now but should be 104 after the pvp. currently does 1126 damage.

Dropping ALL TEH WALEZ will do about 25k to each member of the opposing team if I'm remembering it correctly.

I've yet to not see it one shot the entire enemy team. It's enormously satisfying, especially when dealing with aneurysm causing events like the current Simulator. Ever since I fist used to out of frustration, I've made sure to play at least one match with Deadpool every day to earn points just so I can use it multiple times if need be. It's pricey, so stock up on those DP points.

yes, so far hes on my team for the trivial nodes with daken and mostorm. that's how I make sure I use him every day - I have a crapload of pts. he's getting more useful for me though. should be 3/2/4 after this pvp if I can hold down t25

Thank god this is the last event of the season, because if I had to deal with another event of boosted Luke Cage for season score, I'd blow my brains out.

I've been gambling with PVPs too much, not gonna make a 10 pack. Then again, my tokens have only been 2* lately. I guess it'll be Shrodinger's 10-Pack this time around....

Encountered what I think is a bug similar to the Deadpool Vs. Retribution bug.

If Deadpool steps in front of A Little Off The Top meant for someone else, he does not take the 65% of his health (up to whatever the limit is), he takes 65% of the other characters health.

If the skill is percentage based it should be firing off of whomever the recipient is, regardless of whether that changes in the casting (like how Retribution works)

I was always under the impression it was just an automatic down.

kinda bored with PVP. My roster is more well rounded, yet health packs keep me from really progressing. And it seems like top 100 requirements has only increased...

which means me getting better than top 100 is even more of a pipe dream......all this work for nothing...
