    One clear puts you at about 26th (actually joint 9th).
    Usual faces there from the Hulk and previous PvE, which means heavy grinders.
    Top 10 may actually properly push this time.

    Slice 5 up to 458.
    One clear takes you into top 50, you can do 2 full clears and then grind till the end before the sub closes and easily stay in there. That is of course if your scaling stays within manageable levels, it's clear the difficulty will prevent the less hardcore from doing that.

    Slice 3 vets won't even come close to filling. Under 250 after the second sub. Anyone waiting for it will need to find another slice.

    What's the benefit, again?

    The progression rewards? The placement rewards? Both?

    Also........when doing this and placing say......Top 50, doesn't that mean your scaling will start to dramatically rise? Or does your actual number placement have no impact?

    I do it because I only play at certain times, so better to check and not end up in an impossible position.

    If it's just progression then just start at the beginning, you'll pick up more tokens. For placing it just means you can spend less time grinding because you need to grind anyway once you join a slice. In terms of scaling, if anything starting at the beginning should affect you more as you are completing more matches.... Though no-one knows how they calculate scaling.

    It's only way to have pause in game. Day in and out grind 7 days/week burns me out. Finish old PvE, take a day break, look up forums to join still winnable bracket. And if you enter final partial bracket you might only compete against 250 people instead of usual 1000. Although it's hard to tell how many people in first filled brackets join when they see announcement and don't really play much anyway.
