We receive this announcement:

Character Update - Coming Soon!
Juggernaunt was our first 1-star villain character. At the time we did not envision that this game would grow to be as big as it is now. We’ve realized that we’d made him too powerful compared to other characters, especially when scaled. We’ve re-designed him to bring those abilities into line and keep him in balance with the 1-star class. This should make scaling more satisfying.

Juggernaut (Classic)
1 Star Rarity (Common)
At Max Level: HP: 2520 Tile damage: 7/22/20/7/25/9

We lowered his health a bit and removed the old system of "1 AP less" upgrading. We gave him a brand new third power that we are excited to release!

hey, toss this over in the character/spec page (or a mod will move it)

Not a bad re-work though, although the charged tiles on a 1* may be sort of a loss, why not change it to a CD tile that reduces damage, so his red would hurt him less?

Yes I can throw this in Character page where it will get lost and Devs will never see it, but this is moreso a joke post than an actual rework. I reworded their explanation for XForce's Nerf and added Rag's new blue ability, minus the health. The point of this post is really to show that Juggs clearly needs to be revised as he's still in the old system of "-1 AP" and his scaling is insane.
  • Or they could just leave juggernaut as is and use those powers for Ragnarok so he isn't completely worthless (just partially).

Juggernaut is not broken. He's a 1* and a pushover for anyone past that state in the game unless severely over-scaled. They can much more easily fix PvE by simply replacing him with one of the now almost 100-odd characters in the game, or simply not over-scaling him, rather than making the game substantially more difficult for starting players.

Not everything in the game has to be what's most convenient for you personally. Can we get an auto-delete function on the forums for posts involving nerfherding?

"Most convenient for you personally?" Do you not see the amount of complaints the players post with Juggs? You are the first person to defend Juggs. He is an over powered 1-star, even for new players. The "-1 AP" is a dated system and is considered broken by today's MPQ standards. Yes the devs can easily replace him in PVE with someone else or not over scale but guess what, it's been over a year and that has not happened. The 'nerf' made Rags more manageable in PVE, why can't the same be done with Juggs to keep him in balance with everyone else?
  • He's a prologue / 1* character. His relative power is intended to be balanced by the his low health and match damage, as compared to 2*/3*/4* characters.

Like MBW, he has a strong basic power that makes progress possible for new players before they establish a more diverse roster.

The solution is to limit the amount of time he sees as a PvE enemy, rather than breaking the game for new players. Most of us aren't too happy with 3*/4* nerfs. It's hypocritical to say "these are bad" and then go on attacking the few characters new players can use that don't suck.

Just because its outdated doesn't make it faulty. There is no AP generation @ the 1-star range. The power is fine as is. If anything they need a 3* Cain Marko with revised powers, I would be fine with a rework there, but 1* for the most part are all outdated. I'd take a sledge hammer to IM35 too at that point.

Just leave it alone. The only time he is of issue - is completely preventable by the devs, when he's overscaled AND has two goons powering his AP. That is honestly the worst thing I've ever experienced in the game I had like 6 turns to kill him, even boosted it wasn't possible. But that was the setup more than the character, Ares is no different.
