This is the first PVP event I've really tried at this season to hopefully get my 0/3/3 Psylocke her red ability. So far, I've hit the 200 progression with only facing 2* or sub-level-140 3* opponents (I've done under 20 skips total for higher 3* teams). I've burned through 10 health packs doing so (I saved the progression ones from PVE and got some randomly as a daily reward) and have yet to face a 2* roster not using Captain Marvel, but 300 looks to be achievable without the entire event being a net loss in iso. I'm not sure whether this is due to tweaks in MMR or if more 2* players are participating, but this is much better than the climb last season. My bracket looks weak, so 300-350 might be enough for Top 100 (barely), which is nice...especially because my PVE bracket is the exact opposite (the level of effort that comfortably kept me Top 200 last week is barely keeping my Top 800 in the Hulk event).

I would certainly prefer if the booster characters went away and if the MMR reverted back to the old system, but all that aside, this has been the most positive PVP for me in a couple seasons. ...and I don't even have Colossus.

was hoping for a fresh bracket for an easy top 100, just needed her red. I guess there's less fresh brackets because people have stopped playing

jump with 2 hours to go and you should be able to make it. if you play those entire 2 hours though

I usually do about 1 hour, and I even entered with only 30 minutes left to an almost-full bracket.

I mean, it's fine - I'm not gonna cry over the 1 Psylocke cover I'll eventually get from Deadpool.

I climbed up to about 730 with about half an hour left in a bracket that had opened Sunday night. Wanted that last HP reward, and, since I didn't need the covers, figured I'd get smacked back down to 600, but wasn't about to spend HP to shield if I didn't need covers.

No one attacked me in that last half hour, despite having a solid (but not perfect) team - Maxed BP and Colossus, but my Iron Fist is 2/4/5 and only boosted up to 200th level. I finished top 25. Nice for me, but is just no one trying in this one?

I think i am in the worst bracket ever.. never have i had over 500 points before, and still ranked 290... ugh, psylocke is one of my most undercovered characters, could everyone please stop playing for while? thanx.

wow mal, that bites. I had decided to not shield on this one but got up well into the 600s last night (currently 32nd at 665), so I broke down and shielded. amazing the pt disparity from one bracket to the next.

Top 10 are all over 1k, maybe more since it only shows me the top 10, guessing quite a few people needed the 4* or those psy covers.

what slice r u in? my experience is most t10s are over 1000 for every event. mine is too but doesn't look like too many outside of t10 are at 1000 (10th is at 1012 currently). my t10 is full of xmen, II and III. glad I got my pts last night and only reason I break at the end is if I need 1 or 2 to make t50 for the extra hp. 25 is already 2 matches away and I'm not hopping for this.

Slice 5, i see some X-Men in there, 3 no alliance peeps, #10 is under 1k now and i have moved up to 257.. looks like people are starting late climbs and i am not getting hit. (please skip me if you see me! lolhah)

Hit my 10 pack for the season, just planned on going to the token and stopping, but wanted the cover. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I was 11th in Vision PVP (520 points), 8th in She-Hulh PVP (less than 600 points) and I thought it will be similar this time. But now I have almost 400 points and I'm not even in top 100 .
Guess Psylocke is out of reach since I never scored higher than 575 points (one sweet time I finished 5th and got three Black Panther covers but that was Ultron time I guess).

I am sick of eating level 150 Wind Storm team-ups. 6K to 9K team damage depending on how many covers, and the multi-turn stun. Just ate another one.

I'm still just a 2* -> 3* transitioner, but death to 2* power ups in PVP!

edit: got my top 100, woohoo.. push at the end, broke into top 70 with 3 minutes to go!
