Events hobbling my roster

Really really really REALLY reallyreallyreally RUH-HEEEALLY hating having my roster hobbled for these events. Great, you buffed up a handful of characters. But in Dark Avengers, out of 55 characters that I own, I can utilize 11 of them.

Eleven. 20% of my roster that I've worked to build up and spent a digital schnitzel-load of HP on for Roster slots.

Eleven.

"This one goes to Eleven"

BUGGER OFF, NIGEL!! I'M VENTING HERE!!

Seriously, why? What's the rationale? It certainly isn't making the event more accessible. The AI is scaled through the verdammt roof as it is. Why are you preventing us from using 80% of our toolbox?

What am I missing?

While I'm among the select few who actually SUPPORT the concept of scaling in PvE's I have to agree with you when it comes to limited roster events.

The whole idea of scaling is that you make things tougher for those who have a larger toolbox of solutions to work with. In limited rosters this benefit is completely taken away and yet my maxed level characters can STILL have more challenging battles than other players with maxed level characters.

    Why?

Scaling needs to be revisited for these events. It's not completely game breaking as is but it's certainly not 'fair' either.

I'm in the same boat as babinro, and it's even more pronounced than you'd think. There have been several heroics where I was stuck using at most 4 characters cause I didn't have all the 2* leveled to max and even one of the 3* was very under leveled. Because of scaling you just can't use anybody else. With recent MMR changes and the weekly buffing cycle, PvP is turning into pseudo-heroic where you basically have to use your buffed characters or else you become a punching bag for everyone else.

Jeez guys, the answer is sooooo unbelievably simple!!

You don't have to play every stinking event and you shouldn't!

The prizes for this one are damp garbage anyway, do the DDQ and play something else for a couple days. If you stop and think about it you are part of the problem. If everybody stopped playing these **** heroic events they would go away because people who aren't playing aren't spending. Boycott them and you'll be surprised how much happier you are without the aggravation.

Though there are some that would disagree with your assertion, I will say that since I've backed off to essentially only DDQ that life has been better. Jumping into a PvE or PvP in the last hour limits the amount of time I have to get angry at the AI and I still get a little ISO and/or tokens for my time. I'm not going to progress like I have before but at least I don't need to slog through so many long battles.
